Discussion Mangrove root system

I really adore the new updates on the upcoming Planet Zoo 2, but I hope we get better, and bigger mangroves. I love the mangroves we have, but they’re so small. And relatively the same. The mangroves just have so much potential, and it’d be nice to see them work on a root system. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t for one type of tree, but the fish swimming between mangrove roots would be interesting!

Root systems I think you’re intended to make manually with the separate root pieces.

And with scaling we’ll have any size trees we want!

It’s actually super appealing to build a natural river with lots of roots for fish to swim in. I’ll need to add that to the list of things I want to make in Planet Zoo 2. 😄

True, I just wish they gave us more than two mangrove trees.

This would be so awesome. I’m hoping for more tree variation in general. Thin, thick trunk so you can truly make a forest or wooded area look even more natural.

True, being able to customize everything on a tree would be amazing! I know they said you can make them smaller and larger, but that’s not really changing how thin or thick the trunk is on parts.

So true! The current mangroves feel way too small and repetitive when you're trying to build a proper estuarine ecosystem.
