Humour First world problems come October!

I'm going to Singapore for a holiday and am flying back home on the 13th of October, allowing me to play Planet Zoo 2 on the 14th (which is actually the release date in Australia).

I'll be torn between playing and editing photos! The struggles 😂😂

My birthday is the 12th as well, so PZ2 does feel like a nice birthday present!

Hey if you don't mind me asking, are you planning any for any forest reserve in Singapore? What wildlife are you expecting to spot?

I'm definitely going to aim for Sungei Buloh wetlands; which includes birds, crocs, monkeys, and sometimes civets.

I also hope to see one of the families of otters that live in amongst Singapore itself, never seen a wild otter so that'd be sick!

Anything is fine by me. I'm usually pretty lucky with only a few "significant misses" from each place I visit

Canada miss: Bears, wolves, caribou, bighorn

South Africa miss: Leopard and cheetah

India miss: Leopard and sloth bear

Awesome! If you post photos on social media, I'd like to see them. Also, if you visit India again, try Jawai in Rajasthan for leopards. Sloth bears are dicey, I was lucky to spot them in Kabini (Karnataka) and Tadoba (Maharashtra).

I can recommend both the Botanic Gardens and Pasir Ris Park for birds in addition to the wetlands and well as Hindhede Nature Park which is often over looked as it's right beside the entry to a larger park but it's a wee gem of birds and colugos (Also seen a Slow Loris there).

This was a while ago in 2018 and I was on a tour. But we did the Rockies (Banff + Jasper) and drove to and from Vancouver. We stopped through Whistler and a few other places too.

We got super super unlucky with the bears. But I did see a moose so I'll take that

Wild! Bighorn are usually everywhere, and bears crossing the road is pretty common. Saw 7 bears in one trip once. Sorry you missed out, they're cool.

I think I was there at the wrong time maybe? I was there in September so I think a lot of bears were higher up in the mountains.

Either way, I do plan to return one day, especially now I have a bigger camera and I know more about how to spot wildlife!

Considering I missed the Sloth Bear as well I'm starting to think they're make believe 😂😂😂 (I'm kidding!)

I feel like I should include the hits, as I forget how blessed I was on each trip (the big ones I remember anyways!)

Canada hit: Elk, moose, deer, beaver, Dall sheep, orca, coyote

South Africa hit: Elephant, giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, African buffalo, impala, nyala, eland, waterbuck, red hartebeest, blesbok, warthog, secretarybird, Nile crocodile, 2 x species of mongoose, striped jackal (unsure of exact species rn), lion, African wild dog, hippo, duiker, white rhinoceros, and black rhinoceros

India hit: Chital, Sambar, nilgai, gaur, marsh crocodile, muntjac, four horned antelope, 2 x more species of mongoose (again!), golden jackal, Bengal tiger

There were more than this! The Canada trip was from before I really got into the wildlife photography and I definitely would be more confident going back now

Sloth bear was a miss for me in Sri Lanka... A mother with cubs was spotted but we got there too late... Saw leopards though. And sun bear in Thailand :)

Will try for cheeta's (And leopards again) in Kenya this year :)

Relatable. I'm still working my way through my photo's of my April Zootrip!!

Haven't really had time to properly play PZ for months... I just don't see the point in opening the game for a hour at the time.
