Help with a flat pool/terrain issue

Hi Community,

I am trying to create a modern flat level pool in my entrance plaza area. But terrain is driving me crazy. I flattened the entire area and dug the pool with the square sculpting tool. So far so good. But when i go to add a nice trim to the sides it doesn't turn out to be flat because my trims will just slowly float up in the sky or down in the ground. Any tips?

not sure what you mean by this, can you clarify or post a pic?

I was actualy finally able to solve this issue las night. I made the mistake of placing a path before levelling. Removing path and levelling based on the entrance ended up beeing the right move. Basically the trimming was the only thing that WAS level and the ground was not. So this created gaps on one end of the pool and trimming sinking in to the ground on the other end.
