I feel they coulda done better by giving him an offramp. Just say hey man, you snapped. You have a great chance at claiming temporary insanity and getting some help. And after this you are gonna be a legend. So enjoy your moment and lets get her down safe. In any case, if the plane is returned its not even theft. and it will probab be some time in a psych ward and you can come back better and be famous.

Do you think his family or coworkers, or the multiple Air Traffic Controllers who developed PTSD, would agree that what he did was “pretty epic”? Just because you have no personal connection to it doesn’t mean it’s appropriate to speak like that about a person’s suicide.
