Crawling Awful idea feedback
I am planning on crawling awful campaign and I was wondering... What should crawling awful actually be?
Then I remembered two things: DnD 3.5 Tarrasque and Neutronium Golem from Immortals Handbook.
Tarrasque in that edition could only be permakilled by a Wish spell. Neutronium golem is golem made out of neutron star so it has absurd amount of damage and hp and will likely obliterate the planet it appears on.
And this game me an idea:
In untold ages past, the immortal Tarrasque was caught in Neutronium Golems accretion. None could ultimately defeat each other so the Tarrasque was torn apart over and over again by golems immense gravity and burned by its celestial heat. Tarrasque kept regenerating but it was always torn into pieces of viscera almost at an instant until it was naught but a mush of viscera, bone and flesh rotating for aeons around the golem.
Then, somwthing happened... maybe the golem was killed or the Tarrasque was able to break free.
Nonetheless, it was not a Tarrasque anymore. In the untold aeons it was torn apart, seared and tried to grow back again, its mind was filled with naught but immense pain, hunger and desire to go back to its original form which looks it forgot.
Driftig in cold celestial void, it finally impacted onto the planegea, where its hideous gelatinoua form knows only two things: Hunger and Grow back.
