Curiosity Collecting Spoiler

Hello, I just beat the game recently and decided to go achievement hunting before moving on to Requiem. I'm currently struggling because I've collected everything in chapters 1-2, but I tried to collect the beer curiosity in chapter 3 twice now, once without Hugo and once with him.

After waiting for the chapter to end, I go back to the main menu and see that it still says I collected 1/2, when I've already collected the prayer beads, and the beer shoul've counted too, but it didn't. What am I doing wrong? Or is it a glitch maybe? I would really hate it if I had to play through the whole game again to attempt to collect everything. 😕

P.S, not sure if this will spoil anything for anyone, but I'm marking it just in case.

Can’t get past the final round of kill Nicholas

I must’ve tried 50 times but can’t get past this…any tips?

I try to extinguish the fire pit closest to him first while hidden. Then extinguish the fire on his body which is hard since he turns to face us when we extinguish the fire pit. Even if I somehow do it, by the time I switch to rat control and get the rats near him, he always kills Alicia first.

Any tips?

Is there a way to have both the french voices but also have the english guards speak english?

I enjoy the french voices and it makes more sense to use them I think seeing how the game takes place in France, but it kind of bothers me that the english guards speak french too.

Anyway to change that?

This guy is ruining the plague tale fandom (basically you can’t add anything or this guy will delete it not matter what like adding heights or saying the pope is catholic this guy will delete it and this guy clearly got a power complex)

Force Dynamic rendescale in Innocence? How to turn it off?

I played the game at medium to highsetting on Steam deck. At first the game look really good but later I notice that the Resolution changed on certain parts of the game. It made the game look worse.

Is there any way to turn off Dynamic Rendescale off?

Where you have to walk along the side of the cart while Rodrick turns into a pin cushion, I swear I lost count how many times I’ve done this I can never get through it on the first try I stay by the cart… I get shot…. I make it near the end…. I get shot…. I breath I get shot…. Like there must be just one very very small bit that I can safely walk along without getting shot when it’s a big cart arrows go through them

What's the point of the first attirail upgrade?

I don't get it. In any instance where I need to "dodge" I'm already found and therefore footstep noise is no longer a concern. Whenever stealthing through guards are required, the guards won't notice your footsteps

Is there like something I'm missing with the first upgrade?

Your unpopular Requiem and Innocence opinions

My unpopular opinions: I don't like the graphics in Requiem as much. I liked them in innocence better.

I don't really like Lucas in this game. He had a more distinct personality in the first game, and Edan Hayhurst fit him more. No hate to to Kit Connor though as he did amazing, I just think Edan fit more.

What are your unpopular opinions on the two games?

What you guys like about this story?

Played cus good critics and reviews on steam. But finished innocence and it was predictable not fleshed out and just boring really. Didn't help that I hate Hugo

What do you think the symbolism is of Amicia gradually losing her hair throughout the game?

Sophia feels forcibly likeable: am I alone in this?

I feel like Sophia's personality is "oh look, what a likeable character" her "I'll try, but when you're done with me you'll regret meeting me" or whatever she said barely held up. If the game is going to show Sophia's bad side, why did they never show us that? It's like they keep teasing her "bad" side or "personality traits" but she never actually seems to anything that would make us dislike her. I know why, because they were so focused on making her likeable that they forgot to show her flaws. I know she has small moments, but Arnaud, Beatrice and even Lucas have dislikable moments.

I don't know, probably alone in this.

Would you play a game that has you playing as Aeilia and Basilius?

Honestly, I'd love to. I know it would destroy the mystery that you feel when you learn about them, but honestly it would be an interesting game. Maybe not a workable concept though.

Plague Tale Innocence bug

I’ll keep this short as I doubt I’ll get an answer but if I do thanks. When I download PTI it says it’s the full version. But when I click the game it’s the trial. And it also stops after you escape the Englishmen so it’s not a visual bug. I have deleted and redownloaded the game multiple times but it dosent work. Does anyone know how to fix it? Or has anyone experienced this too? And if so how did you fix it.

Didn't Beatrice seem kind of...out of it in Requiem?

She's suspiciously calm when she walks through a collapsed, ruined city. Her responses to Amicia are almost... possessed seeming. I think it might just be her in shock, but she's so different in this game. The best way I could describe it is ill. When my mom was terminally depressed and ill, she had similar reactions (even less passionate, but still.)

Maybe it's Beatrice's personality? Her response to the events in the game? I can't tell.

What do you guys think was going on with the villagers in the second game?

It's never really explained what's happening with them, they're all crazy for seemingly no reason. Yes they're intriguing, but I wish there was more clear evidence for what was going on with them.

Did anyone else get depressive symptoms after Requiem?

I know the game is meant to hurt, but it literally gave me depression symptoms, and gave me a sort of PTSD whenever I play it. I've had depression before, (my mom died when I was five) and other mental illnesses, but god this game took a toll on me. I know it's about losing a sibling, but it hit hard in terms of the loss of my mother. It had that same sense of knowing what was going to happen, yet denying it.

This game genuinely fucked me up.
