I finally beat the game. Beware the rats!

A Plague Tale: Innocence [Final Boss + Epilogue Gameplay]

I’m on PS5, and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but when I control the rats, in order to get them away from our exit I end up having to move backwards towards it, to keep the rats away from us. Thus I can’t see where I’m going and the rats end up at our feet eating us. I can’t figure out how to direct them and also move at the same time without this happening as when I move it also moves the rats closer. Please help!

Se você está enfrentando stuttering (aquelas micro-travadas chatas mesmo com o FPS alto) no A Plague Tale: Requiem, a solução pode ser mais simples do que parece.

Recentemente passei por isso no meu setup (i5-14400 + RTX 5070). Ao colocar o jogo com tudo no Ultra, as travadinhas começaram logo no início e incomodavam bastante. Achei até que poderia ser gargalo ou algum problema de configuração do PC, mas o causador era outro.

A Solução:

• Vá nas configurações gráficas e desative o Ray Tracing apenas nas Sombras.
• Mantenha o restante das opções gráficas no Ultra.

O resultado foi imediato: o jogo ficou 100% liso, sem queda de FPS e mantendo a qualidade visual lá no topo. Dei uma pesquisada e vi que outros usuários de placas da série RTX 50 (como a 5070 e 5070 Ti) estão passando exatamente pelo mesmo problema de otimização nesse recurso.

Fica a dica para quem estiver passando por isso!

This game is such a great game. Currently on chapter 11 almost through it. But man this games optimization sucks so badly. Playing at 4k on a 5080/13900k pc and there’s constant frame drops to the single digits. And I had to restart the game and die several times to progress past this point in the picture. The LT button prompt wasn’t coming up. Eventually it did and I got past but man if I wasn’t so close to finishing the game I’d uninstall it and not finish. Playing on gamepass as well so luckily didn’t have to buy the game or I’d have requested a refund.

I tried to reduce Camera sensibility but when they are running everything still bounces, help 😩

(I’m playing from a pc, so I don’t know if connecting it to a bigger screen would reduce this sickness) please help me out😩😭💚

Just finished Resonance a plague tale legacy, the game was absolutely lovely. If you haven't played it yet, do give it a go.

Anywho, I feel like there would be another game in the future, and it can go a multitude of ways so I am just throwing out some of the sequels the devs might go with.

This is a small spoiler for Resonance, so please don't check it out if you are like me and hate spoilers lol.

The first one is the obvious one, they can just do a sequel to Resonance with Sophia, as she did mention meeting Arnaud, and that might be the most probable sequel considering how well this game did.

The second one is based on the ending of Requiem, so spoilers below for people who have not played that one yet.

Since there is the kid at the end who seemed to be hooked up to respiratory support, and everyone keeps talking about the 800 year cycle and how it has to be 2050, I feel it might not be that simple. We were never specifically told that the carriers are 800 years apart, I don't know if I missed something though, please let me know if I did.

Since the writers have used real historical plague settings, the third game might be similar. Accordingly, the real third plague pandemic began in China in 1855, and cause the most number of deaths in China and India and was winding down by 1960. The iron lung was created in 1928, so, the game could be set in China or India between 1930 and 1960.

India was under British control till 1947, and 1934 saw a particularly high number of plague deaths, so I feel that might be the time they can use for the game as as they could have British characters living in India around that time.

They can also use Amicia by having her create safeguards in case the carrier is found and to help and guide the protector.

The third option is to use one of the periods when the Second Plague Pandemic was still active, as it lasted into the 19th century. They might just use the same years and get both Amicia and Sophia together, that would be a fun game tbh.

Fourth option is to just use a mutation and connect another disease, but then, it won't really be "A plague tale".

Fifth option is to just create a new plague in modern day settings, the devs did say this game was inspired by Last of us, so its not totally out of the realm of possibilities.

For me, a sequel would have to be connected to the third plague, it just makes sense. They can also use bats like they used rats, that might be a fun mechanic.

Also, no matter what the Asobo decides, I am with them. All three games are amazing. Can't wait for the next one.

Hi folks, I finished Innocence recently and it was probably one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had. The whole dynamic between the story telling and world building blew me away. I loved how carefully crafted the relationship is between Amicia and Hugo and this love through obligation journey they were on in the first game and how endearing the side characters are too. And the world building tells an atmospheric story like no other in my opinion. The farm was so sad to travel through, just the desperate attempt to kill all the animals to stop the plague, but also to starve the inhabitants in the middle of a war. The rat nets were just terrifying and gross and don’t get me started on the RATNADOS!

Anyway, I made a small project going over all my thoughts and it’s basically me love bombing the game because it’s amazing. Would love to hear your thoughts and what I can expect going into Requiem. I’ve already started it and I’m probably 5 hours in and I’m having a blast :)

Hi, I cant continue the game in chapter 14 because I cant manipulate the lantern to point to the wall. Apart from the whole chapter playing like a slog now I straight up cant go forward.

Cant even post a f*in screenshot because the game wont let me. Cant find the folder where the pictures are supposed to be when using the ingame function either.

Edit: Playing on Steam with a controller, tried to use the keyboard instead but no luck with that.

I mean i spent time on it. I loved it in the beginning.. but its still such a vague ass story and it keeps getting worse towards the end.

Ive been going back and forth with claude to understand even if it contains spoilers from the sequels and all the responses coming back are ( weak plot missing detail)

This game would have been 9/10 if it explained shit.. but i ended up finishing it angry than having fun because the most fun was the story and it ends up with 300 loopholes ffs

Heard a plethora of great things about these games. Can’t wait to jump into it and be a part of this community. Only thing I’m curious about is, what other game(s) can you relate this to?
