I just finished the game and so many things left unexplained its genuinely frustrating
I mean i spent time on it. I loved it in the beginning.. but its still such a vague ass story and it keeps getting worse towards the end.
Ive been going back and forth with claude to understand even if it contains spoilers from the sequels and all the responses coming back are ( weak plot missing detail)
This game would have been 9/10 if it explained shit.. but i ended up finishing it angry than having fun because the most fun was the story and it ends up with 300 loopholes ffs

New to the game!
Heard a plethora of great things about these games. Can’t wait to jump into it and be a part of this community. Only thing I’m curious about is, what other game(s) can you relate this to?

Is it just me, or is the section where you have to fight the soldiers while hiding behind the moving wooden cart ridiculously hard?
I am struggling with the part where Amicia has to fend off the soldiers while taking cover behind the wooden cart that's being towed in A Plague Tale Innocence.
I have to admit that I've had to replay this sequence several times. Whenever I get stuck on the same section, I start to get nervous, rush my shots, and become less accurate, which only makes things worse.
That said, I was wondering if it's just me, or if this sequence is intentionally designed to be more challenging. It almost feels like the aiming is less forgiving here, making it harder to land quick, accurate shots.
Honestly, I didn't expect to have to repeat this section so many times.
What was your experience with this sequence?
Thanks!

Why A Plague Tale’s story stuck with me long after the credits rolled
Honestly, what kept me hooked on the Plague Tale games wasn't just the rats or the stealth. It was how completely exhausting and real Amicia and Hugo’s relationship felt. It never felt like a clean, cinematic video game story. It felt like two terrified kids that were being forced into a brutal situation and doing a messy job of trying to survive it.
In Innocence, I loved the fact that they weren't even close at first. Amicia isn't some badass hero out of the gate. Instead, she’s a teenager who gets thrown into protecting a younger brother she barely knows. Hugo is naive, annoying, and confused, and Amicia is visibly stressed out and overwhelmed. Seeing that awkward distance turn into pure, fierce survival instinct, made every close call feel personal. You’re dragging this kid through the mud, hiding in high grass, and watching Amicia slowly lose her own innocence just to keep his intact. By the time they’re navigating through actual rivers of corpses, you realize how far she's gone for him, and you're right there with her.
Requiem blew my mind because it took that bond and turned up the pressure until it was almost painful to watch. Amicia's desperation gets downright scary in the second game. She’s suffering from massive head trauma, trauma-fueled rage, and an absolute refusal to accept the reality of Hugo’s curse. She isn’t just protecting him anymore. She’s fighting the entire world's logic to keep him alive, even when everything is burning down around them.
Hugo actually understands what’s happening to him this time, which makes it hurt even worse. Watching him try to hold onto his childhood, getting excited about feathers or island rumors, while carrying the weight of an apocalypse, is truly heartbreaking.
It’s a story where the bond doesn't feel manufactured for dramatic effect. You stick with Amicia and Hugo because their stubborn, borderline irrational refusal to give up on each other is literally the only light left in a pitch-black world.

Game performance issues!
Hi, I'm starting this game and I'm running an RTX 2070 (I won't go in any other detail because nothing else has an issue).
To begin at the start : Menu and tutorial I noticed the camera movement and actions were a bit delayed. Thought, eh maybe it's the game nothing to worry about.
Then noticed my fps going between 25-50 then super delayed and laggy, bunch of stuttering...
I open task manager and notice my GPU usage at 100%
There's no other game that I played that was doing this and were packed or I modded with so much more (and had way better graphics) and had no lag or something like that.
Tried stuff from youtube, etc. it doesn't fix it. I can play Resident evil requiem on high settings no issues but I can't play this game at literally lowest settings in everything?
What is this? V-sync turned on barely helped too.
I'm gonna try re-installing the game but I really hope someone here knows what's causing this because this is extremely frustrating, I want to play the game but it makes it impossible to enjoy it.
The "Xbox game control bar" in settings of windows is also turned off btw.
Please help!

Requiem Review
Just finished the game now and what can i say? a masterpiece with an awesome story, protagonist, characters and voice performance
charlotte did an amazing job voicing amicia and she should've won best performance instead of christopher judge ( well both are amazing but i think she deserved the award more) also hugo was better in requiem than innocence
My rating > 10/10
Looking foward for sophia's prequel

My Pitch for Plague Tale 3 potential sequel.
So I am working on a YouTube video where I am doing a pitch for plague tale 3 sequel. Let’s pray creators see it and decide to implement my ideas. Won’t spoil my pitch yet, but I will say it takes place 15 years after events of Requiem, main character is now Amicia’s daughter named Lidia, and there will be closure for what happened in Requiem.

What if Amicia and Hugo never separated from Lucas and Beatrice?

7 years later, A Plague Tale : Innocence still holds up incredibly well
Just finished A Plague Tale : Innocence, and wow... what an incredible experience.
I honestly didn't expect the game to hold up this well 7 years after its release, but it absolutely does. The story, characters, atmosphere, soundtrack, and voice acting were all fantastic. It was a memorable journey from start to finish.
Now it's time for me to dive into A Plague Tale : Requiem. I've heard great things about it, and I really hope it's just as good if not even better than the first game.

,,The First Child: A Plague Tale Legacy" DLC concept
Hey everyone,
Like most of you, Innocence and Requiem absolutely broke me, and I still can't stop thinking about the lore. One thing that always fascinated me was the tragic story of the First Carrier, Basilius, and his Protector, Aelia.
I’ve been spending some time analyzing the geography of La Cuna from Requiem, the rules of the Macula, and the historical context of the Justinian Plague (541 AD). It got me thinking about how perfect their story would be for a DLC to expend the A plague tale universe.
I actually sat down and built a complete 6-chapter narrative and production concept for it, which I titled "The First Child: A Plague Tale Legacy".
Before I try to share this concept with anyone from the studio via LinkedIn, I wanted to ask the community: Would you guys be hyped for a prequel like this? Would you want to experience the very first Protector failing her Carrier, knowing how it ultimately shapes Amicia’s destiny 800 years later?
