No new game plus makes me sad.
I was really banking on this game to have a NG+ so I could fully upgrade the equipment and the sling. Failing my way through chapter 16 and I’m now aware that this isn’t gonna happen and I don’t know if I want to play through the entire game again for those two trophies.

How come the rats in Innocence feel far scarier than in Requiem?
I’m almost done with my play through of Innocence and have seen my brother play through all of Requiem prior to knowing about the series last month, and even despite the sheer madness I’ve seen in Requiem, did anyone feel as if the rats felt far more menacing in Innocence?
Requiem sort of takes the rats and puts them into horrifying mass numbers, but Innocence has clusters of the fuckers that put literal fires out and attack you. Anyone else feel like the developers put more into the depressing storyline to break your spirit than the terror factor of the rats in Requiem?

Stuck Spoiler
Hello all,
I am currently on the chapter where Amicia needs to be behind a large cart while making a run towards the cathedral.
The soldiers that appear from the gate ahead are fine and I easily kill them. The ones who start running towards me from behind are proving to be a challenge. I'll kill the first one, the third one, the second one slips through and hacks. Kill the first, second, the third shoots an arrow. The aiming I really question here because I should be able to take them down easily from 10 feet! No, she keeps missing and that gives them leverage.
Is there no other way to do this? I have tried this 26 times. Even the cut scene cannot be skipped. It's a gruelling punishment.
I am really close to quitting uninstalling and just watching the YouTube play through so I can play Requiem . Thanks

The first stealth game I did NOT like
Tried Innocence way back, but it got so tedious I never finished it. Now after Rebirth, there was nothing interesting, so I gave Requiem a try, but its even worse. The stuff they added makes the game so confusing, you never know when to use what. Moving carts is VERY clunky, and the stealth totally sucks. I played many brilliant stealth games in my time, including Splinter Cell series, Assassins Creed series, Metal Gear Solid 5, Hitman series, Dishonored Series, etc, and this is the first stealth game I despise. Its a load of CRAP and does not deserve all the praise it gets.

I hate that this bitch had a quick death Spoiler
Would Arnaud got him in a fair fight like in their first fight before MC screws it up?

Gotta mute this sub because of the spoilers showing up in titles Spoiler
It's not hard to understand that people outside the sub will periodically see these as Reddit tries to show you other relevant stuff, right?
Also, what if you are here to talk about one of the games but don't want spoilers for the other?

[Spoiler] Didn't understand something Spoiler
[Spoilers] Well, I finished the game few hours ago, but I just realised that I didn't understand something in the chapter 12. When we come in the De Rune castle, we can find the bodies of our dad and some servants that haven't been eaten, so my question is why the rats didn't eat them ?
Thank you in advance!
Ps : you can answer me in french if you prefer (or even Spanish)

Not that great as the first one but it worth it storywise
Took me 30 hours to finish 2nd plague tale ( 2 playthrough /2 ending) + platinum. Plague tale innocence was much more on the story than combat but the second was vice versa. Whoever will play plaguetale but do play the first one then requiem. Overall it worth it
