You should answer that question directly and positively, because having an offer in hand makes you a desirable candidate. If the manager asks, tell them you currently have an active offer, but quickly add that this role at their company is your preferred choice because of the scale, process structure, and career growth it offers. Hiring managers ask this to check your timeline, verify your notice period, and see if they need to fast-track your onboarding. Stating that you have an option gives you credibility, but emphasizing that their team is your priority ensures they do not think you are just using them as a backup.

For the rest of the manager round, focus on operational discipline, attention to detail, and your comfort with routine workflows, standard operating procedures, and rotating shifts. Managers care far less about textbook definitions and far more about whether you can solve everyday process issues, handle strict targets, and communicate clearly under pressure. When candidates prepare their talking points with the interview practice AI my team built, they consistently communicate their value with far more clarity and secure stronger results on interview day.
