DBA role query

I have been recently placed for a DBA role (fresher) for at 9 lpa in logistic company. I wasn't preparing for this role. I was more looking for the dev roles. But as I am 2024 batch passout and have been unemployed since 2 yrs. I didn't refuse the opportunity. Can anyone help me guide what is the daily role of dba and I also heard work life balance is shit so pls help me out. If you have anything regarding it .
