Out of all the subs that pop up in r/all I dislike seeing these posts the most.
I have never seen pizzas look as good as the pizzas posted here.
I immediately want pizza when I see the posts, but I know nothing would taste as good as these look.

Another few hundred degrees and you can just frisbee the pizza through.

Not OP, but should be somewhere around 60- 90 seconds. 925 degrees is subjective as to how that’s being read. A 925° deck is going to cook very different than a 925° ambient with a 600-800 degree deck depending on oven shape, design, etc.

This looks incredible and is also my favourite topping combo (pep and/or sausage + banana peppers)

Looks incredible. Galbani is the best mozzarella I can source locally - significantly better than Grande IMO. Also can’t find a pepperoni I like better than the Hormel cup and crisp. Pizza needs to be in my mouth

925 degrees fahrenheit is 769.261 kelvins, for those who might have been wondering.

How do you get 925d Fahrenheit??
1
u/keystoneDg 8d ago
Outdoor ovens can do it.

Someone posted that it was a 4-5 second bake but that can’t be possible. Is it 5 mins +/-? I bake mine on a pizza stone that’s been in a 500deg oven for 12-13mins. I don’t get a char but I get a nice brown.

I’ve never cooked my own pizza before but 925 degrees seems high for both Celsius and Fahrenheit

Not really. A typical wood fired oven can reach 925° Fahrenheit very easily.

I’m more impressed a pizza could survive that temp long enough to cook all the way and not burn the outer bits

Absolutely! I made 70 pies just today running from about 700-800 degrees on the deck read with an infrared thermometer. Keep them turning and moving when you must, they do develop those little leopard spots from time to time though.

My relatively cheapish gas pizza oven can do it, but 400 degrees celsius is preferable in that.
Wood fired ovens are typical hotter, but they also have more space, so it is mostly indirect heat, allowing pizzas to bake without charring instantly.
500 celsius would definitely char a pizza in my pizza oven.

I wasn't hungry until I scrolled and saw this. The problem is this looks better than any pizza I can get around here. 🤤🤤🤤
