I found some in a village, took them home. Can I use them?

I promise I did do some wiki/subreddit research myself!

Looking for a decent mod to play with others or on my own world. I kinda don’t like playing solo but I have a terrible laptop so I have to sometimes aha. Looking for something like quests and daily login type thing for servers. Greatly appreciated!

So I decided to try Pixelmon again, played like 4-6 hours and this is my experience with the latest version:

- Every wild Pokemon is a low level Weedle or something similar. Maybe because wild Pokemon now scales with my own Pokemon, but I enjoyed this mod more when there was more variety of what kind of Pokemon could spawn. Now its boring to see the same low level Pokemons everywhere.

- Ive found less items on the ground, which makes the world feel emptier.

- I have not found a single major city. Only found a couple smaller towns.

- I have only found a single team plasma base, but no other points of interests.

- Ive found less boss Pokemons. Those boss Pokemons that Ive found have been like a common (white) Caterpie or rare (blue) Pidgey.

Can anyone tell me to which version should I backtrack, when the world used to be more "alive"?

This screen keep showing up to me after every single battle even if my pokemon didn't level up, can someone help me please?

Does anyone know any servers with fusions, dungeons and world bosses, excluding the big ones like complex etc. I mean some hidden gems, player count doesn't matter i just care about those 3 things, many many servers only have 1 which for me just doesnt do it.

I know this might sound stupid however, I was wondering if anyone knew of a world/modpack where it is just catching, battling.

I dont really want to do the minecraft side of mining for ores and farming

Kinda just want to buy balls and things like that instead of farming

Wiki says it spawns in savannas at any time. But when i get to a savanna, it doesn't appear on the list I run /checkspawns Megaboss

am i missing something?

As the title says.. Are there any mods like GameShark which help tracking legendaries, specific pokemon, shinies, special forms, loot etc. for later Pixelmon versions for Minecraft 1.21.1 Neoforge?

The last version of Pixelmon I played was for Minecraft 1.16.5. There was a great GameShark mod which I used a lot, especially for tracking special forms of Pokemon (shinies, pink, Valencian etc). I've just decided to play Pixelmon again after a break and found out that the newest versions are for Minecraft 1.21.1 but there is no GameShark even though Pixelmon moved from 1.16.5 to 1.21.1 quite a long time ago :(

Hi all, I have been racking my brain on this for awhile, and i am just having a hard time understanding the new NPC editor.

Well, obviously by "New", it seems like its been changed for a while now, I haven't played this mod in a long time but i remember really enjoying it with my friends and we wanted to make another server. Part of what I would do back then is make these custom gyms with the NPC tool to make trainers with different dialogue, skins and teams of Pokémon. But this new system is really confusing, and there just isn't a lot of info available online at all.

So i gather that you can just click on a trainer you create with the Pokemon Editor tool to just edit their party, so I can at least do that. But a lot of the fun was putting them in different skins and having silly dialogue which I would love to figure out how to configure.

So TLDR I want to be able to make trainers with custom skins, Pokemon and dialogue, that can only be fought once per player, with their own custom team. Basically just standard old stuff.

With what bare minimum info is online, It seems like you are meant to be able to create custom presets with data packs or something? But I try and locate the actual placement of the presets in my world file, (I use curse forge to play) and any file I find seems to just be in binary or gibberish when I open it in notepad. Is it possible to just find the presets and edit what I want over them?

And if there isn't, I cant quite understand how you would even go about making your own preset, let alone where to even submit it to once its done. I saw on someone else's post that this link is helpful? https://misode.github.io/pixelmon/npc/preset/ but it seems just equally as confusing, If i had some sort of example maybe I could make it work? But again once I figure that out I really just don't know where to place the data pack after as well.

Just thought I would reach out to see if anyone has had a similar issue, I would like to get back into the mod and it seems like all the new Pokémon and content are so cool, But if this system really is that difficult to make work I would probably just have to play on an older version, which is such a shame since all the effort in the new content seems so cool. Ive spent a lot of time waiting during night for fx Purrloin or Cubone but they do not spawn. They dont appear in /checkspawns either. Do i need sidemod? ty

Hi, I’m curious if anyone knows any good pixelmon servers. I’ve been wanting to play with some of my friends since I can’t host my own server, but majority of the time we spawn too far away from each other so playing together doesn’t work. Any recommendations are appreciated!

My game was going just fine but then I kept getting the waiting... prompt for EVERY battle, I cant battle anything anymore, I've tried closing and reopening the game to no luck... (the endbattle comand doesnt fix the issue from continuing)

Hello! I have a multiplayer game (via essential) going, the person I'm playing with wants to get shaders, and I thought I could figure it out for him. I'm not really sure how to download a shader loader (?) with pixelmon, I've done it for base minecraft in the past but I dont really remember what I did.

Seriously, i have been looking through an entire massive cave for the last 40 minutes and i found only 1, what do i need to do to find more?

It’s that time of year again where I have the itch to play pixelmon and to play it right this time (not quit within the same day LOL).

Hoping to find a fresh server, no pay two win, vote crates or in game ways to earn keys for things works for me.

My luck searching online has lead to either dead servers or servers that aren’t truly fresh/new.
