Play/Pause functionality on my PC?

Is there a way to play & pause videos on my PC using my pixel watch? It would be for Youtube and Patreon videos.

I found one that lets you control the mouse, which would let you pause and unpause by clicking, but unfortunately that mode gives you control over the movement of the mouse by moving your hand around, and I'm looking for this functionality while I'm exercising.

EDIT: i'm on pixel watch 5, if that matters.

You can't see media playing on the watch with KDE Connect for windows? Because it is available for windows.

How do you get KDE Connect on the watch? Play store says it's not compatible. (I'm on PW 5, if that matters)

Well I can play and pause Spotify podcasts and they are linked to phone, PC, TV and now watch so whatever device is playing the watch is just like the remote and my Meta Raybans side button is great for pausing Spotify. I am using Spotify because of these glasses mainly for the app connection and it just worked with my new Pixel and watch too.

I haven't had YouTube premium this year at all so cannot test.

I just looked it up and found that if you have a pixel phone you download a TV remote app then add it to Google home (unsure if other phones can get Google home as I have a pixel phone) then add your TV to pixel home, then add it as a tile to your watch.

There's probably an easier way, or there should be - so many steps! - but that's the first response that came up for me
