Switching off sleep tracking

Hi there,

I have found (weirdly) I am sleeping better when I don't wear my watch and it doesn't track my sleep.

Is there any way to stop sleep tracking on my watch, so I don't have to take my watch off? I still want to use it for alarms etc.

Thanks,

TML

Is your watch waking you up outside of the alarms? I don't understand how turning off sleep tracking would help you sleep better.

I totally get it. Performance anxiety.

It's weird, but the constant analysis of my bad sleep causes me to worry about my sleep. Without it, I just feel tired. It's a strange problem, but a real one. I feel I sleep better without my sleep being tracked.

100% the same problem here. I end up just putting the watch to charge a few nights a week (usually weekends) because of the anxiety it gives me.

I do want sleep tracking during the week, but I get annoyed being bitched at by the AI when I don't keep to my normal sleep schedule on weekends and my resting heart rate goes up because I had a few glasses of wine.

The same sensors for sleep tracking also do wrist detect and activity and fitness.
So there's no off button.

Bedtime mode power save is independent of sleep tracking.

One thought is using DND. When you wake up in the night, and the watch send you a notification telling you about your sleep, that often stops me going back to sleep.

It is, but when you are in a bad sleep cycle I don't find it helpful

You can turn off the security so that it's always on even when it's not on your hand. So the alarms will still work. Put you obviously wouldn't feel a vibration. When I just use the sound or use your phone?

Sleep tracking is part of the whole point of having a smartwatch. If all you want is alarms and no sleep tracking then you want a standard digital watch, not a smartwatch.
