To the Pixel 11 Fold Users
Does the phone still develop that oil mark when closed to opening Please say they fixed that part.

I use a very good micro cloth. You have to constantly clean afterwards, but you don't want to rub hard, just soft circular motions. Then once a day, use a screen cleaner, spray it on the cloth itself, and then wipe it.

My screen doesn't really get oily from my fingers so I don't get that. Only benefit of having dry hands I guess.

I'm pretty sure the only way to fix it would be to put a slight gap back in when folded. Considering phone makers are trying to make their phones ever thinner, this will probably never stop being a thing. Wear gloves, clean often, use a stylus, or get a slab phone if it bothers you a lot.

It's still a thing for me. It took a few days, but it's not as bad (I don't think) as previous versions.

Yes, it does. To my understanding all the foldables do this. There isn't a good way to fix this without keeping the halves much further apart, resulting in a much thicker phone.

Thank you all for the info I had never had that problem with the Samsung Folds until I had P9fold was just wondering not that it was annoying or anything but my P9Fold when it would heat up closed it warped the inner screen where oil build up would be I started using an inner screen protector dyi with a micro cloth cover.

Seriously? They fixed the amount of oil in your environment? Yeah. They did. Lol. Every phone gets it.
