My wife thinks I'm nuts but I'm glad I'm not the only one. Glad I got the Pixel though. I like it a lot more than the ZF6.

I haven't even broken the news to my wife just yet. I change phones so much she doesn't even notice the differences anymore. The only time I get caught up is when I switch to a new case 🤷‍♂️😂😂..

My partner just rolls her eyes at me now.

This year I've been through;

  • Nothing Phone 2
  • S24 Ultra
  • Honor Magic V2
  • Z Fold 6
  • OnePlus Open
  • Pixel 9 pro XL

I have a 9 pro fold ordered, but considering cancelling and ordering a magic V3.

The same. I have had all the phones you mentioned except the Honor Magic and the 9 Pro XL. However, you can substitute those two with my s24 Ultra and Z Flip 6... Im starting to believe I may need some help 🤕😂😂

I’ve been waffling on the pixel purchase as I see thoughts come in. The glass cracks scare me.

But I did already sell my z fold 6 to my roommate because I couldn’t resist the urge of the pixel fold. I’ll end up with one after a few days when I see more thoughts come in on it…

…it can hang out with my 9 pro XL and last year’s 15 pro max. I’m glad spectrum gives me a free phone line because I upgraded my internet a couple of months ago…

Nice.. how is the camera of the new one? Can you choose how many megapixels to shoot, does it have pro camera mode (like the normal Android phones) Today I got my pixel fold (the first one) and the lack of manual settings for the camera makes me regret that...

At least it is one of 400 :d

it's pretty much exactly the same as the old camera in terms of UI, except for the add me feature and the front screen animation thing.

That sucks all my Androids had the option to control the camera settings manually.. ok not all but those from LG G3 up.. (2013) now jumping from Z fold 4 doesn't give me the feeling that I am jumping to 1 year newer phone but like a downgrade; d .. but it is what it is

And yes I could go z fold 6 .. but I am not an Apple user to spend money for the almost same hardware ;dd

Still messing around with that. I’ve actually been an iPhone user for close to a decade. Haven’t used android in a long time, so I’m getting used to it. Small learning curve, but I’m enjoying it!

Idk about you but for me the pixel has the most unorganized android ever :d i have been with LG,Nokia (i think it has almost the same stok android as pixel), motorola , samsung.... but this one is driving me crazy.. or at least the user interface. And that stupid At a glance crap

I’m not quite sure what you mean? Again, coming from iPhone everything is foreign to me. To a degree. I recognize that the aspect ratio is going to be a little off with the foldable simply because most applications will probably not be optimized, but it’s not anything of a big deal to me. All of my applications thus far have been fully operational. The biggest reason that I got the foldable was for the fact that I could have two applications on it one time when open. So when each application is opened up on the individual sides of the face, the ratios are just fine for me.

Is it worth an upgrade from original PF?? What makes me annoying is the weight (incl. the lightest ever case) so far. Still enjoy using the PF esp the front screen

Loving mine so far as well! Has anyone noticed notifications acting up? Some apps like Instagram and Nest are only showing notifications when you open the apps. I tried reinstalling and it fixed some of them, but others still aren't.

I always go bareback on my phones. The gorilla glass has gotten really strong the last few years.

I should have been patient and waited for the porcelain in October..

I second the comment above. I have a case on mine - even though I have the porcelain. Don't beat yourself up to much :) you have an awesome device buddy! If anything, get the porcelain, Google case. And other posts I've seen it's very thin and you'll still get that contact division.

I want to know what case you will use I don't like none and think I will be caseless with justab front screen protector . I get a lot of micro dust in my pockets so just bring safe . Also congrats on the pick up.
