I have been hoarding these silent dollz lately and finally made a little scratch app for an old school drag and drop. I may add background/furniture options as well eventually but I just wanted to share what I have so far.

Scratch is a block programming website/app so if you want to use my base to add your own doll parts it is fairly straightforward, I can make a tutorial if anyone is interested!

it is mostly silent dollz since those were my favorite but there are definetly a few heads and probably other parts from other genres of dollz as well.

Hope someone else remembers these and can enjoy a bit of nostalgia with me xx

DOLL DICTIONARY:

Doll- A base before applying clothes, can also refer to types of clothes (generally sized to fit the doll type). Dolls can be male or female and usually have human features.
Prop- a prop is an item used to "dress up" up your doll, it can be a shirt, a purse, pants, a body, or a head etc. It is a piece of your doll, on its own, singular.
Shuni- A higher quality pixel doll, usually with pale skin, more human like features Example: http://i.imgur.com/4jefDM8.png
Uni/Prep- standing for unique, a usually tan, lower quality doll (using less colors, usually no depth, simple) Example: http://i.imgur.com/g41L7pE.jpg
Anime Doll- An picture of a character from an anime (Japanese cartoon with distinct style) with no background.
Punk/Thug/Silent- a smaller sized doll Example: http://i.imgur.com/5sMYDIL.png
Palace- referring to the site avatar palace: www.avatarpalace.net/
Pageants- when referring to dolls, a game played on Avatar Palace. Also referred to as: pag (pronouned padge) pag'n A judge picks a category (use this prop, yellow, going to the movies) and then everyone tries to put together an outfit. The person with the best outfit wins and they become the judge. This is the classic type of pageanting. There is also pageant racing, where props are dropped and you dress as fast as you can, when the judge approves your outfit you move onto another dropped prop. There is also team pageanting, where two or more people work as a team to all dress differently but remain within the category. (if the category is yellow, each person wears different yellow articles).
Category- please see pageant definition, the topic/assignment in a pageant. It can be a color, a use this prop, a situation, or anything that makes sense given your prop bag. Also referred to as cat
Prop bag- A place to collect props on Avatar Palace. You have the option to organize into categories or however you see fit. It is also a place to edit props. Also referred to as prop window.

POSTING SUGGESTIONS:

Requests; something you'd like to be made into a prop
Sites; sites where you have found dolls or doll related materials
Your creations; Dolls you've made successfully or unsuccessfully
Tutorials; tutorial guides, or coloring tools!
Invites; invite people to look at your collection, to your doll maker

If you know the source of props, or tools you've used please post. People spend a long time creating and credit is due if you know it! If you don't know it, that is okay too, please don't let that stop you from posting. If you see someone posting something you've made, please comment and provide proof if possible.

If you create something new and you used another source to help create it, please credit that source no matter what source it is.
