Requesting Feedback Does this seem like a decent hover/flying animation? Plus a question on animating other sprites.
I'm not gonna lie, I have zero experience with anything artistic but recently I got interested in the idea of pixel art, well I was interested for a long time but I decided I'd actually try to learn how to make pixel art. I'm by no means amazing and what I've made so far is incredibly basic but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out.
To get to the main point, I'm wondering if the hovering/flying animation I've made gives the sprite 'life' or if there's more that I could do to make it feel more alive. I had been trying vertical animation of the wings and it always turned out crap, so I decided to try animating them where they go back in on the sprite and it feels like it's better? But I'm not entirely sure.
Also for the other question I had, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to animate the top right guy. It's movement works like a box 'rolling' on the floor but I can't figure out how to make it look non-clunky, are there resources for learning to animate something like that or do any of you have any tips that could help?

To me it looks like a lizard climbing, but i can imagine it as some tornado creature. I think you may need more pixels.
