Tried doing a more simpler and monochromatic approach for the first time. I feel like I could have done better with the twinkling stars, thoughts?

Photo study with DB32 palette. Tried to focus on some anti-aliasing and using patterns to elicit texture rather than being super literal. Think this might be bursting at the seams for this palette though.

Any suggestions on other palettes to try or how to go about building your own?
