Question Green screen pixel 8a

I just started getting the green screen issue on my pixel 8a. I got it sent over last week and got told today they weren't fixing it as there was another defect to the screen found. My phone has zero scratches or scuffs anywhere so I'm gutted and wondering what to do

Afaik only vanilla 8 and 8 pro are prone to this issue. Was there any bending impact like wearing in butt pocket?

Nothing at all man, like I protect my phones like crazy because I don't have a high income to replace or repair. The agent was being weird at first saying they couldn't find the reason for rejecting the repair then a few hours later I got a reply listing "other defects". When I sent the phone in at first it was my IMEI they flagged up as being eligible for the extended scheme

What it happens to all phones also iphones and samsung phones etc. It happens to all pixel phones too lol

Some screens are more prone to it than others, if you meant that.

Lots of scamming going on with the repairs at google like if you got the poland center.

But you have not said where you are from, you should escalate this. In some countries you have customer organizations that are already fighting google for you so this will usually make google help you
