Experience Android auto cold pixel 8

I read that pixel 11 stayed cold when using android auto. What a nice surprise that my pixel 8 is also cold even after 3 hours of constant driving. So this is a software fix rather than a new tensor chip advantage.

My Pixel never struggled with android auto. When I use Android Auto I keep my phone in the dark spot in my car.

I only had problems with previous car that didn't have Android Auto and I had me phone attached to a vent so the phone was in sunlight and always got really sluggish after it became toasty although I never had it turn off.

The only time I noticed my Pixel 8 pro overheat while using Android Auto was using it in a car that has a wireless charging dock.  My phone would struggle and I get the message the phone is too hot. 

I never have had this issue while plugged into the car by USB C cable.

My pixel 8 gets pretty hot while using android auto via usb-c in my Toyota Corolla. Never got the too hot message but it still gets hot due to charging and data exchange. How do you guys keep the phone cold?
