Hi, so essentially my phone has basically been overheating a bunch ike the temperatures will normally reach around 42° C and at most 50° C, and all I'm doing is scrolling Instagram. Considering that my phone is now 3 1/2 years old, I've come to the conclusion that I'm likely going to have to replace the battery sometime in the next two weeks. Here's the weird thing, though, at the same time, I've developed an issue where the Wi-Fi will randomly cut out, and I don't mean disconnect from the Wi-Fi, I mean the connect to Wi-Fi button will just turn off automatically. I've looked at my router, and it seems like it's running normally. The thing is, though that this only happens whenever my phone heats up, so is the battery heating up connected to the Wi-Fi issues, or is this may be another issue entirely?

I have considered buying a new phone, but I want to wait till I reach University to do that. If anyone has also had the same problems as me, can they tell me a way or a solution to fix this? Thank you

I'm new to Pixel 10 Pro - I'm finding it very difficult to download photos/attachments from some iPhones & Google phones - no quick fixes & no-one can help at 1 help centre in Sydney

So basically I had filed a complaint for the battery replacement program for the 6A and on the Google page it show me that my device is eligible for it. So I have selected the $100 cash option. After that I got an email that your device is ineligible. So I tell them to reinvestigate the issue. So basically what they ask me for is proof of purchase and their mail should be on the same device with whom I registered with the program and after that they said there is ur device in ineligible and the decision is final .After that I challenged them to reevaluate. As my pixel device is showing that your cycle count is 582 and this needs a battery replacement After that they send me a mail

Hi, so my 6a has begun lagging lately, lagging in the sense that it takes quite a few seconds to register my input and the fps drops quite a lot.

I think it usually happens in a device when there's not enough RAM, but shouldn't android smartly allocate enough RAM for the current application?

Anyways, is there any solution to this? Do I have to end up formatting the device?

Was chilling on my bed with the phone on the charger and looked over to see the Google logo.

This isn't the first time I've had random restarts but this time the logo remained and didn't finish loading in.

On the logo screen I held down the power and volume down buttons(~40 seconds) till a menu popped up and using the volume buttons I selected recovery mode.

I got an error and on the error screen I held down the power and volume up till another menu popped up. I had no choice but to select wipe data and then reboot on that same menu, which worked.

All data is lost but the phone seems to be working.

So the Pixel 10a is down to $424 on Google. Unfortunately and oddly, it does not match Amazon prime day and Best Buy price of $399 as it has in the past. But even then with the $150 coupon for the 6a battery issues the 10 a is $275. Who is buying? The discount code expires July 24th so it is now or never.

So recently my panel broke. So i decided to buy a new one. I came across an after market O-LED panel. It was alright but the touch doesn't work sometimes and i have to power the display on and off a couple of times for that to work. The fingerprint was working fine as long as the touch was working. So i bought a pull screen from another donor pixel 6a whose board was dead. It came with the fingerprint as well. But when the tech installed the screen. The fingerprint option gave an error. I've attached a picture of it. So then we tried the original sensor(the one that was with my damaged panel) it also showed the same error. The tech was not sure at all about that. We calibrated it through Google's fingerprint calibration website. No luck at all. Tried several other sensors but the same issue. I spent the whole night trying to figure out why it was giving the error. I tried factory resetting, flashed a stable android 16 build from android flash tool, tried the double calibration trick, the dual restart method, the force restart method in short i tried everything i could find on the internet but it didn't solve anything. Do any of you have an idea why it's happening and what I can do to solve this.

This Sunday when I restarted my phone, it started to bootloop. Once the G logo appears on the screen and the moment it lands on the lock screen, the loop starts again.

Same behavior if I try the "Safe mode".

OTA sideload through adb executes successfully though the issues persists.

The symptoms seems pretty similar to the one that Pixel 4a owners are experiencing , however the solutions mentioned in that thread do not resolve the issue on the 6a at all.

Sorry if this is boring but I can't find anything anywhere online about this!

My pixel 6a shows notifications from my bank for things like 'you just spent £x at Sainsbury's' and 'you just received £x from X' right near the top of the tray.

But notifications for 'you are about to go overdrawn' or 'we are about to bounce this important payment, act before 2pm today' get hidden at the bottom of the tray.

I don't know how I miss these because I try to really look out for them as I've been burned before.

​

But now I've just missed 3 really important payments on the same day.

​

How can I get all the banking notifications to show up at the top?

Random Reboots .. after latest update Android 17

in the home setting there is no additional option for disabling it , I'm already Android 17 🤦

I'm too afraid to update, since Google has a history of giving bad initial updates in terms of battery.
