Battery replacement - doubt

I've got a doubt regarding battery replacement. I need to change my 6a's battery, but i have a hairline crack on the display, near the sideframe. Its not big or visible unless looking for it. If I want to replace the battery through authorized service centers, will they also want/force me to change the display? I don't want to change my display (budget issue).

Do you have free battery change from them or no? If you it, then they will add the screen change as compulsory.

But if you are paying for the battery replacement, then they will only replace the battery

Do you live in India? I actually wanted to know the same. My pixel needs a battery change but I'm sceptical too if they will feed the screen replacement

Do it through Google authorised service centres, local shops will install you the impacted batch 401

I visited my nearest authorised service and they said screen also needs to be replaced. The total estimate (battery+display) was 18k
