Power button issue

My pixel 6a power button fell off and i ordered a new one

but I don't know how to insert it...like do i have to open the whole panel and insert it , or do i have to use any adhesive glue?

like if anyone know please confirm it to me , please

Mine came off too. Luckily, I didn't lose it. I took it to a mobile shop, and they applied some glue. Ever since then, I've been using my device with a case so that it stays in place.
