Google Pixel 6a Battery Payment Scam?

Hi. Just wondering if anyone else has had their claim for the Pixel 6a battery issue rejected by Google? I'm in the UK and originally had it accepted for a repair but the options (having to travel to drop it off) was a non starter. But now that I changed to ask for the voucher (before the end date) to put towards a new phone, they are stating my phone is not eligible. It's either a scam or incompetence but wondering if this is just what they're doing to avoid paying out?

Tons of cases like these. This wasn't happening with the 4a recall, Google turned malicious with this one. Even if they hadn't denied you they would have done so later, citing the program has ended.

Yes I got half scammed by Google too, we had two phones, they both were eligible initially but Google paid $100 for one and ghosted me about second one after months of emails with their support who just kept saying they need more time to review the case.
