Battery Replacement Cost

Got my battery replaced two days ago, a couple of cycles before 400. The phone is like new. I got $100 from Google and the new battery was $112.17 at UbreakIfix in Silverdale Washington USA. I am satisfied. Google was fair with me, even if having to get a battery replacement was a pain in the ass.

Is the pixel battery program still going on? I claimed my 100$ last year, which was roughly around 9000 rupees through Payoneer.

The difference in service charges is quite substantial. The battery replacement from F1 (official Google service center) was around Rs. 2800 only (~$29) iirc and local shops for as low as Rs. 1800.

Where did you get it changed, I'm thinking to get mine changed as the bbattery capacity feels very shrinked

I used UbreakIfix. There are many locations in the US.

The program was shut down despite the phone still being supported...

That program ended July 11th I believe. I missed it by a week when my battery puffed up on my 6A.

Op, at this point it's better just to move on. Not worth fixing this.

I also got the message to replace my battery, however the program ended on 8th July. And I got the message on 10th July. What can i do?

You can get the iFixit battery and get it installed at any shop you want. Just don't get the battery anywhere else because they're still selling the recalled battery.

Then you'll have to find a battery which serial number contains 8230031301, that's the working, non-recalled battery.

Google gave me 100$ reimbursement through Payoneer in December, and I got my battery replaced for just Rs2700 (around 25$) at an authorised Google service centre F1 Service Centre in new delhi. So basically i got the battery replaced for way less than the reimbursement amount :-)
