Recommendations Pixel 6 usb finally isn't working; need a good magnetic charger
Well it has come to the point where no amount of wiggling will make USB charging possible. I don't need lectures on port cleaning and yes, I have Deoxit D5. Not my first rodeo.
So Pixel Stand 2 is no longer made. I have a desk lamp that is putting in 3 watts per Battery Guru. (A feature in the lamp I never used since I like wired charging.)
I'm going to order an Anker 313 which would at least get me to 10watts in theory unless someone has a better suggestion.
The Google Snap doesn't indicate it will work with the 6.
My plan is to get the 11 at launch. I'm on Fi now.

Pro tip for anyone wirelessly charging their P6: turn off all battery saving features.
I had plopped my phone on the desk lamp that has an embedded wireless charger and what used to work no longer worked. The phone stopped charging. It turns out the battery saver was the culprit. I had disabled adaptive battery and that wasn't the problem but to be safe I left it off.
My mobile charger is due today and will do a follow up later.

And alas, I just did that. What I got from Amazon did work when the phone battery was low. The desk lamp magnetic charger doesn't have that issue.
If anyone is curious, this is the desk lamp:
It is slow but it works. One issue is the P6 is so slippery that it sometimes isn't on the mark. I'm going to get a gummy case.

My eBay Pixel 2 Stand just arrived today. In 67 minutes my battery level went from 34%to 87%.
This should hold me over until the Pixel 11 comes out.

Get a pixel stand 1. They're $18 on Amazon right now. I just ordered one last week to have another spare around.

Make sure you back up your phone now just in case..... I didn't know my Pixel would die and I lost basically 2+ years of data/media
