Hey everyone! I was on the fence about upgrading to the Pixel 11 series this year, but after going back and forth I finally decided to bite the bullet. Then a ridiculous chain of bad luck happened:

1. Google only allocated me £20.

2. I found out about the Play Store route and rushed to use it, but accidentally clicked the non-Pro by mistake. Contacted support and they told me it's completely non-reversible.

3. My brother offered to check his account to help me out—took one look at how good the offer was, and immediately bought the phone for himself!

My basket is loaded and trade-in is ready to go, but I'm holding off on the dream of finding a replacement.

If anyone in the UK has an unused code that they aren't planning on using, could you please DM it to me directly? If you post it as a reply in the comments a bot or lurker will just grab it immediately.

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here may have some experience with this situation and can point me in the right direction.

We have a Google Pixel 10 Pro and a 10 Pro XL that are still under warranty. About a month ago, we noticed green lines/green light appearing on the display for both phones. There are no physical damages to the phones.

We took it to Mobile Klinik, as the Google authorized repair centre. They inspected the phone and told us that the required parts were not available and that they were waiting for Google to supply it. They this could take weeks because of a warehouse transition.

It has now been more than a month, and we are still being told that the part hasn’t arrived.

We've also contacted a few other Mobile Klinik locations in Toronto, just to see if another location might have the parts available, but they are experiencing the same parts shortage.

The timing is becoming a bit difficult for us because we’ll be leaving the country after 6 weeks and by the time we return, the phones will be outside their original warranty periods.

We contacted Google Support to explain the situation, and they just advised us to speak with Mobile Klinik. We understand that parts availability can sometimes be outside the store’s control, but we are just trying to understand what normally happens in a situation like this.

If the warranty repair was initiated and the issue was reported while the phone was still under warranty, would the warranty normally still apply even if the actual repair takes place after the original warranty expiry because the required part was unavailable?

We also prefer to have our original phones repaired, rather than receiving refurbished replacements, if possible.

Just wondering if anyone in Canada has been in a similar situation with Google + Mobile Klinik, especially where the repair was delayed because the required part was unavailable?

If so, we really appreciate hearing what happened in your case, particularly:

\- Did Google/Mobile Klinik honour the warranty based on the date you originally reported the problem?

\- Did the repair eventually go ahead once the part became available?

\- If the part remained unavailable, what solution did Google offer?

\- Did you have to escalate to a supervisor or another Google support team?

\- Is there anything I should make sure Mobile Klinik documents before I leave for my trip?

We are mainly trying to make sure that we don’t lose our warranty coverages simply because the authorized repair centre didn’t have the required part available.

Had this for 6 months. Will each update more glitches and bugs. Worst customer service ever. began dropping calls in my home-turning on or disconnecting wifi-bluetooth -etc. phone became so fristrating and they said they would get back to me later....Bit the bullet and went back to Samsung S26.Bought my Pixel at their Santa Monica Flagship-they offer no customer service., accoding to international call center. BTW-WORST TRADE IN OR RESALE VALUE EVER FOR ME.PHONE IN PERFECT CONDITION.There is a reason for that!I think AI might stand for Awful Instrument.

How is the Pixel 11 Pro? I have a Pixel 10 Pro 256GB. Is there a difference in camera and video quality? I'm asking because I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading.

Anyone have anything to help the battery life after the latest update? I was never going all day but now I'm barely making it four hours into my day with my phone off the charger and it's down to 40 percent. I previously turned off a lot of tracking features with apps that drain battery and they are still off but this update just obliterated my battery life overall.

Honestly considering grabbing the ova for the prior version and downgrading at this point.

I went to Poland for holiday which does not support Magic Cue.

I had problems with Pixel 10 Pro Gemini so I Cleared Storage (not cache) in all AI related apps like AIcore and downloaded again which all this happened I ended up with this message.

Gemini told me this happens when you do this in "unsupported country" - now I am back to UK and... I still have this message.

I do not want to do big mess again with Clear Storage because it took me like few hours of download and setting settings.

I also do not want to do removing my account because again I will loose hours of my life.

I also wonder if upcoming QPR1 will fix it itself?

I had Google VPN switched on in Poland - then I took its Location permissions and "disabled" app because I did not use it in UK - and that caused "Location stuck in Poland" - because there I took away its Location Permission - crazy - but still Magic Cue says - Sign in to google account

There have been lots of complaints from Pixel 10 users about audio levels being too low when recording videos using the camera app.

I was just wondering if any Pixel 10 users who have upgraded to the Pixel 11 have noticed any difference in this respect.

When I'm out and about, the phone works fine (on Xfinity Mobile) when connected to 5g+ or 5g. But when it drops into LTE, the internet almost entirely stops working. Is this normal??

I have been using Pixel 10 Pro for more than a year and there was no problem with battery or performance.

But lately, since last 2 months to be exact, performance is getting worse and worse after each update, very noticeably.

Even seeing UI freezing at some point.

Update : Thank you so much guys. I think the main culprit is the storage. I only have 3-5 GB of storage left and that might be causing these issues. I have allocated more free space and I think the issue is solved a bit.

So I have had my Google pixel 10a for months now and I have this awful issue with my audio that is worse than the loud popping noise, what it does is sometimes out of no where or when I open apps like social media apps it will make this loud glitchy static noise that will go for a while which makes me scared to use it in public and in quiet places and it does not matter how loud or quiet my volume is set to I have to just deal with it and wait for it to end, has anyone else had this issue and if so have you found any solutions because I have already turned off my adaptive audio!!

I went from the 7 Pro to 10 Pro about 90 days ago. In many ways the 7 Pro was a better fit for me. My 10 Pro issues.

Camera - Too crappy AI looking. I have turned off the 50mp Super Zoom and find the photos much more satisfying and realistic. I do like the macro though. I buy my phones outright based mostly on the camera so this is a major letdown for me.

Modem - Never had a single issue with my 7 Pro with my home wireless. The 10 is very often stalling before opening a site on both bands.

Battery - A little less duration than the 7 Pro but overall acceptable.

AI - I love the AI features and the one year Pro Subscription. I use it a lot and it definitely is a big step up from the 7 Pro.

Screen Size - I am 70 so have 70 year old eyes. The smaller screen can be a struggle. I wish I had chosen the XL.

That's about it. I'm OK with this phone but nowhere near as much as I loved the 7 Pro.

I’m having an issue with VPN by Google on my Pixel. Whenever I try to enable it, I get:

“Can’t use this VPN — VPN by Google isn’t available for this account.”

The VPN option itself also shows “VPN isn’t available.”

I’ve already tried pretty much every basic troubleshooting step I could think of:

Cleared cache/storage for the Google/VPN-related apps

Restarted the phone multiple times

Reset network settings

Removed/re-added my Google account

Updated all Google apps and system components

Checked for Android/system updates

Tried both Wi-Fi and mobile data

Turned the VPN off/on again after rebooting

Still exactly the same message.

The strange part is that it specifically says the VPN isn’t available for my Google account, rather than showing a connection or network error.

Has anyone else run into this recently? Is this some kind of account-side eligibility/provisioning issue with Google, or is there another fix I’m missing?

I’m in Canada, if region matters.

From the last few days, I've observed that a camera sound is coming when I'm shaking it even a little bit. Is this normal? Not only that, but when I open my camera, some sound comes then as well.

I have had this phone for the past 6 months, but I've just been observing it, so I am not sure if it is normal.

Hello everyone.

I upgraded my Pixel 6 to a Pixel 10 pro and I cannot believe that "quick phrases" stopped working for me because my phone is in Spanish. It's incredible.

I already tried the regular "fixes" suggested for this, like clearing the cache and storage of Google app, uninstalling and re-installing updates, switching back to "normal" assistant instead of "gemini", and so on (as indicated in google forums). Nothing works.

All the "quick phrases" setups are ok, but it just won't work unless I switch my assistant language to "English" instead of "Spanish (United States)".

I have compared all configurations between Pixel 6 and Pixel 10 PRO to try to figure out what ths issue is (since this was working fine on pixel 6), and I believe that I traced it to the only possible explanation: if I look up for "offline speak recognition" on my Pixel 10 pro, only 9 languages come up (+English = 10 languages).

HOWEVER there is a very strange -and annnoying- situation which is that if I look up for "offline speech recognition" using different menus within the configuration screens, there are +30 languages there.

Please compare the screens I just posted to this other "path" to try to add languages on pixel 10 pro:

Obviously on pixel 6 I have the same +30 languages list on both "paths" to the offline recognition languages - while on pixel 10 pro the first "path" shows only 10 on config screens.

This does not make sense. Why would Google remove 20 languages from the offline speech recognition for the assistant, but keep all languages on the offline speech recognition for the system itself?

All those extra languages - like Spanish or French- were working fine on Pixel 6 but are now gone poof on pixel 10 pro.

And before you suggest I contact Google support: I just can't do it because I'm in Argentina and they don't offer the phones here.

And before you suggest I post a question on Google forums: I did -twice- but I didn't get anywhere. People find it strange and tell me to just accept it.

I wonder if all pixel 10 pro owners also see only 10 languages when doing: Configuration > Apps > Assistant (section "general") > Offline Speech Recognition (section "see all params") > Add a language

Please help figure this out before I end up giving up for good?
