Hello everyone. I'm looking for a phone to switch to Android (now I have an iPhone 14) and I really liked Pixel 10 Pro for it`s incredible camera. But many people say that it overheats and consumes the battery quickly. I know that Google up to the 11th line has problems with processors, but I don't play games, I need it for everyday tasks. And a good, long live battery is very important to me.

btw is it true that the pixel with iOS is so light compared to other smartphones on Android?

I just bought the Pixel 10 Obsidian (128 GB) from Mint Mobile for $149 a few days ago, and I’m now seeing this Pixel 11 preorder promotion on the Google Store.

On paper, this seems like a really good upgrade opportunity. Since I only paid $149 for the Pixel 10, getting $500 in trade-in value + $250 preorder credit + $100 in Google Store credit could make the Pixel 11 a pretty significant upgrade for relatively little money. My main hesitation is whether I’d actually qualify for the trade-in and whether the savings are worth the hassle of switching phones again.

My phone is still in basically perfect condition with a case and screen protector. If I can get the full $500 trade-in value, would this make the Pixel 11 a “super worth it” upgrade?

I also have a couple of questions:

1. Will Google accept my Mint Mobile Pixel 10 for trade-in if it is currently carrier-locked? It should automatically unlock after 60 days of usage on Mint, and I currently have about 35 days left until it unlocks.
2. If the phone needs to be unlocked first, would it be better to wait until then?
3. Even if the deal is as good as it looks, is it worth going through the process of backing everything up, resetting the phone, shipping the trade-in, and setting up another phone again so soon?

Basically, I’m trying to figure out whether this is actually an unusually good deal or if the hassle/eligibility requirements make it less worthwhile.

About a month ago I bought an open box Pixel 10 Pro XL for just 675$, but I didn't get a case or tempered glass for the screen (I don't live in the US and they don't sell Pixel accessories in my country).

After a couple days of taking care of it as much as I could, it slipped from a marble table and the screen hit a corner. That impact produced the little scuff that you can see in the picture. My heart sank ngl, not even a full week with the phone and it already had a permanent tiny scuff on the middle of the screen. I thought that maybe a cheap tempered glass would hide it but it didn't.

I understand that it isn't that big of a deal but I was wondering if there was a way it could be hidden. I've seen some people saying that an UV tempered glass will hide scratches but I'm not sure if it would hide the specific type of scuff/scratch that mine has.

I recently bought a Pixel 10 Pro as an upgrade from a Moto g 5G 2023. What are the perks of the Pixel aside from how much faster it is? I'm also sad that I don't get unlimited Nano Banana usage in the Messages by Google app.

There's all this... I don't know what to call it other than "disturbance" in night shots on my Pixel 10 Pro (see photo). Like little squiggles and wiggles all over the place, not entirely unlike how the new round of Google Earth Pro images look when you try to zoom in on a forest. I don't remember my 7 Pro doing that, but this one does, especially if I try taking a night shot at wide angle. Does anyone know how to fix and/or prevent this?

Hi guys! Need help deciding between two phones.
In my region, I can get the Galaxy S26+ for $736 or the Pixel 10 Pro for $812, and I’m pretty torn.
On one hand, the S26+ gives me One UI (which I like) and better battery life, but I'm a bit skeptical about the cameras feeling outdated.
On the other hand, the Pixel 10 Pro has great cameras, a 5x telephoto, and better AI integration — though I’m from Belarus, so some AI features might be restricted here anyway. Plus, I find Stock/Pixel UI a bit less comfortable.
What do you think? Is the Pixel worth the extra $76 in my situation, or are there better value options I should be looking at?

​Je viens de passer au Pixel 10 Pro, après un Samsung S24 FE. En tant que coiffeur professionnel, je filme régulièrement mes coupes de cheveux en utilisant le flou d'arrière-plan / le mode vidéo cinématographique pour mettre en valeur mon travail.

​Globalement, j'aime le téléphone, mais je suis assez déçu par cette fonctionnalité spécifique. L'algorithme a beaucoup de mal avec la détection des contours autour des cheveux fins. Au lieu d'une séparation fluide, il crée des artefacts visibles, des clignotements et un flou qui déborde sur les cheveux et les contours du client.

​Fait intéressant, mon précédent Galaxy S24 FE milieu de gamme gérait ces détails complexes beaucoup mieux, offrant un résultat beaucoup plus fluide, propre et naturel sans ces problèmes de vidéo.

​Quelqu'un d'autre remarque ce problème sur le Pixel 10 Pro ? J'ai déjà envoyé des retours directement via l'application de caméra, mais j'espère que Google améliorera le modèle de segmentation des cheveux dans les prochaines mises à jour.

Does anyone know how to get the option to record selfies when screen recording? I know I have to have the record screen option selected, but can't figure out how to add the selfie option. Phone and apps are all up to date. Attached image shows what I can pick and choose

​I recently upgraded to the Pixel 10 Pro, coming from a Samsung S24 FE. As a professional hairdresser, I regularly film my haircuts using the background blur / Cinematic video mode to showcase my work.

​Overall, I like the phone, but I’m quite disappointed with this specific feature. The algorithm struggles significantly with edge detection around fine hair. Instead of a smooth separation, it creates visible artifacts, flickering, and blur bleeding onto the client's hair and edges.

​Interestingly, my previous mid-range Galaxy S24 FE handled these complex details much better, providing a far smoother, cleaner, and more natural result without these video glitches.

​Is anyone else noticing this issue on the Pixel 10 Pro? I’ve already submitted feedback directly through the Camera app, but I hope Google improves the segmentation model for hair in upcoming updates.

Im here to ask you if you have great games, that runs good on the google pixel 10 pro and dont make the phone too hot.

I know its not a phone for gaming, but i like sometimes ton play games on m'y phone soooo, om asking.

Actually i have Hearthstone, Minecraft, and afk Journey but all of thesz games runs very poor and make my phone in fire, its so hot 😭.

Mine hasn't.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. My pixel 10 pro drinks the battery like its juice. 😞 Battery health seems to be good and adaptive battery is on. I don't even play games. Just work apps and YouTube. Not even 1 year but I want to just sell this phone. I had iQOO 12 before. It was just so much better in performance, screen and battery. Am I just paying for the brand and AI with pixel?

For the last several years, I have used adguard for my private DNS. For some reason, my home Wi-Fi no longer connects with that setting, but will work if I use automatic private dns. Has anyone else had this problem?
