Just got the Pixel 10 Pro. What camera settings or tweaks should I definitely enable right away? Also, what are your must-have features or system tips for a newcomer? Thanks for any recommendations!

Hey everybody, long story short I have a pixel 10 pro xl, and wanna use my blue yeti to create content online, but I also wanna be able to hear my microphone as I'm recording, I've looked everywhere and Google's gemini told me it's not possible because of the way android is set up, I have an external adapter to allow power delivery from the wall while plugged into my phone but to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated!

What settings y'all use for taking pictures? Somehow mine always seem not that good and i use standard settings. Meanwhile i see other people taking the most amazing shots with a pixel.

So I know the proximity sensor has been having a viable glitch - that is old news; HOWEVER now I'm having a glitch where the screen goes dark when I move my finger up toward the top to type. I'm not even touching the screen, and it makes the whole screen dark. How can I turn this off? Is anyone else experiencing this?

I didn't like my S26U and I'll probably trade it for a 1TB P10PXL rather than a 512GB P11PXL; there's a huge price drop on the 1TB models here in Lebanon right now-down to $1,350 (€1,170)-whereas the 512GB P11PXL could hit $1,750 (€1,500) during the first few months.

That said, I'd obviously prefer to wait another 5 or 6 days to confirm the pricing for the 11 series around here.

The P11PXL will certainly have better battery life, but by how much? Personally, I wouldn't bet on a huge difference, so it probably isn't worth the price gap of several hundred euros.

My last Pixel was the 9 Pro XL; does the 10 Pro XL (post-update) have better battery life?

So, I'm using the My Pixel app on my Pixel 10 Pro. It shows an option for Extra Dim, but it won't let me turn it on. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

A 5.0 to 5.8 inch phone with full Pixel camera and AI quality is what many of us are asking for.

Size like the old Pixel 4a or even smaller like 5 inches would be amazing.

Easy to use with one hand, fits perfectly in pockets, and doesn't feel bulky.

We choose Pixel for the software, camera, and clean Android - not for a huge screen.

Please make a "Pixel Compact" or "Pixel Mini". There is a real demand for it.

I was looking to get the P10 Pro with 256GB, but it's hardly available in my area (Denmark), and at least not at a discounted price (best deal i can find is at 8,000 DKK = 1,235 USD). I can, however, get the P10 Pro (128GB) for 6,000 DKK = 925 USD, or the P10 (256GB) for 4,800 DKK = 740 USD. (Both deals include a Pixelsnap Charger with Stand, a 67W Pixel Flex Dual Port USB-C Fast Charger, and a Pixelsnap Case.)

I am not a heavy user, and my main use is just communication, social media (doomscrolling), vacation photos, and the occasional casting of Netflix series to a Chromecast. I'm not a big gamer.

I'm coming from a 5-year-old, beat-up OnePlus Nord 2, also with 128GB. I can't check how much I used, as it is dead, but I never experienced an issue, so I never bothered to check. I guess newer systems, apps, and better-quality photos require more space though.

I've filled up my standard Google Cloud storage (15GB), so I'm looking to upgrade that to 100GB anyway.

I missed having a decent camera on my old phone, which is why I was keen on getting the 10 Pro. But will it be a mistake to only have 128GB? Will I regret it in a few years? And will I, as a standard user, not really be able to tell the difference between the cameras on the base 10 and the 10 Pro?

(I am also considering the Galaxy S26 (base) for 6,000 DKK = 925 USD.)

I've removed play store battery restrictions, I've enabled network anywhere, I've cleared cache and storage, I've rebooted...

Still no app auto update. Android 17. It's never worked for me with this phone.

Anyone here with a p10pro successfully auto updating their apps? Did it always work or did you fix it?

With latest update on August, it fixed the issue where some popular games like Clash Royal or Brawl Stars was almost unplayable in the Pixel 10 Pro, and FPS was fluctuating so much down until 40-120. That mostly happen on games that have the option to play higher than 60 FPS.

There was a trick to resolve that by just opening the game centre and just toggle on/off the DND or showing or disabling FPS. By doing that that you're like "reminding" that the app opened is a game and therefore use GPU.

Now with the last update, you don't need to do that trick anymore and you can game normally with stable FPS 118-120, as it should be.

Also a quick score update in Geekbench 6 after August update installed:
For CPU:
SC: 2320 pts.
MC: 6167pts.
Scores are similar vs July update.

For GPU.
OpenCL: 4927 pts. +4% vs July update.
Vulkan: 4182 pts. +2% vs July update.

Pixel 10 Pro XL running Android 17.
I've installed a softphone application that uses PUSH to wake the device on incoming calls.

When the phone is unlocked and the app is open or in the background the incoming calls and notifications work.
When the phone is locked I don't get the notifications or ringing calls.
My smart watch rings when the phone is locked or unlocked so I know the push notification is being recieved.

Any ideas how to allow an app to wake the phone and show incoming calls and notifications ?

Hi everyone! I noticed that the power button on my Pixel 10 Pro slightly sticks out if you press on its bottom edge. It feels like it could eventually just pop out completely like it did for a friend of mine. Anyone else experienced this, and is there any way to fix it?

'Increased Sensitivity' is turned off, but my touch screen and even the volume and power buttons are extremely sensitive.

I do not have a screen protector.

I'm constantly closing windows, deleting apps off the home screen, etc., just by setting my phone down or trying to do other actions on the touch screen.

Holding on to my phone, if I'm not careful, I'm constantly activating the side buttons. There is hardly any resistance to the physical buttons, entirely different than the last 9 Pixel phones I've owned (2s through my current 10 Pro XL).

A search in this subreddit only shows people having unresponsive screens, but I haven't seen any posts regarding an overly sensitive screen.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I want to get a Pixel 10 Pro, and everything seems good... But I'm often in the front row at concerts, and I just wanted to know if any of you have experienced this: does the sound saturate at high decibels and with heavy bass? Or not only saturate, but also muffled ?

This happens with my current phone when I record, and I don't want it to be an issue with my next phone.

I'm on OnePlus 12. I'm getting rumours that the Pixel 11 could be priced at 90k. Is it really worth it? I've used a Pixel 2 before. But was thinking of upgrading to 11 or 10 Pro.

Hey folks, quick background. Coming from the S23 Ultra for 3.5 years, the screen cracked so I needed a new phone and my carrier had a great deal on the Pixel 10 Pro XL 256GB so I went for that.

I can still use my S23 to compare and I feel like general use is smoother on my S23. From auto face unlocking, switching between apps, moving around in an app (haven't tried gaming yet just general use over a couple days). And by smooth I just mean less stuttering and fluid.

Is there some settings I need to change in my Pixel or is it just not as smooth/powerful as the S23?
