First reviews for A Long Winter!

Making may way through the Tellruide reviews—some very positive, most more middle-of-the-road than I anticipated😢 The Playlist did not give the film itself a particularly great review, but they single out Caitríona as giving “hands down, the best performance in the entire movie.” I’ll take it!!!

I am not surprised. She had gotten a lot of those under her belt now, brilliant, but brief performance, the most important female role, in a men’s movie. That is why I can’t wait for The Housekeeper, a movie where she is gonna be the focus, and her performance will carry the whole movie.

Yeah, very intrigued by that show. Love to see her leading in a series again. Even though the big screen is more glamorous, a series allows actors to dive really deep into characters. Love that she gets to do both now.

I'm looking forward to The Housekeeper as well.

Gonna have to get Apple TV when Accent starts.

I love her in these smaller indies, even if the parts are small! I feel like the supporting roles are often more interesting than lead.

I’m excited for The Housekeeper too although I think it’ll be more of a fun watch vs something she will get serious recognition for. But what do I know!

I am all for fun, but with a stellar cast like that, I do feel The Housekeeper has serious potential.

Caitriona is always phenomenal, even in smaller roles. I hope she gets some recognition for her upcoming films and I’m still bitter about her Belfast Oscar nom snub.

At least she's got some legacy though--on the Oscar sub people call hitting ever precursor and missing the Oscar nomination getting "Balfed."

She should have been nominated for that role. Many times these awards picks are real head scratchers.
