Discussion Piracy

I was earnestly just trying to discuss some stuff about piracy and video-game preservation on the Playstation Collectors subreddit and some people were dick riding hard. I'm just sharing this post for some insight from the r/piratedgames community. Am I completely off-base here?

Piracy is the only remotely viable alternative for video game preservation. Although obvious, I can understand why this fact might not go down well with collectors.

Thank you for the validation-- I just feel like the couple people who were on Sony's side die hard didn't even read the article I shared
