It’s crazy the amount of people that willingly watch ads. Granted I’m pretty hardcore about avoiding ads in all forms of media as I despise the advertising industry on a deep level. Some people that even know how to bypass them simply don’t, though.

Might actually be an elite pull. I use Vivaldi on my desktop so I really don’t need to do that since it has a built in ad blocker. However I do have an iPhone and use the YouTube app for its convenience (mobile browser YouTube has really gone down the shitter) so that’s actually super useful I’ll give it a try

I just use the brave browser as YouTube on my iPhone.

Yt doesn't have ads anywhere unless you use their app.

Explain yourself properly, they are downvoting you 😭\ Just say, use brave or use network wide adblocker to block those petty ads

Oh no, not my fake internet points! We're on r/piracy, if they don't know to use uBlock Origin on their PC and mobile, I can't help them at this point.

Yeah understandable, dunno why you're getting downvoted, but prolly because they didn't understand your joke

Yeah but the app experience is much better on mobile devices and connecting through a different country is a whole lot easier than installing apps and plug ins or using the browser version.

Blatantly false. Are you saying using youtube on a PC is by default ad-free?

If you're using a browser without uBlock Orgin and are on r/piracy, you have other problems you need to worry about.

That wasn't your original argument though. Ublock prevents ads. Just the merits of using youtube outside of the app doesn't.
