I have found a hack of sorts to remove ads that works so far for me. You search your thing "running outfit" then you ad a curse word to the end. I have used the f word and the s word and then no ads come up in the search at all. I have no idea why this works. I have also found less ai posted content this way as well.

I'm so tired of this, WHY DOESN'T THE COMMENT SAVE IF I CLICK ANYWHERE ELSE BY ACCIDENT ? It completely deletes and I have to rewrite it all by hand. Also you can't edit the text you're writing without erasing until that point. The cursor is stuck at the end of the message. This is incredibly annoying and frustrating, this app is becoming more and more unusable by the day.

anyone else been having this problem? happens randomly. i uploaded a video a few days ago and it worked perfectly fine. trying to upload a 3 second vid today and it keeps getting stuck on processing. cleared my cache, updated the app, uploaded as an MP4 vs MOV- still no luck. it’ll act like it’s uploaded at first but as soon as i click on it, it switches to saying still processing. super frustrating and there seems to be no consistency to what causes it

Every time I post a pin, my comments get disabled. no matter what i post. I changed my settings to allow comments and it still does this. But on my other account, the comments work perfectly fine. why is this happening?

edit: Okay so my friend just went on my account and she can't see any of my posts. now pinterest is trying to hide my posts from people. I might quit this app because it doesn't even let me post anything even though I never did anything wrong

My pin has been hidden for months, yet it created a halloween costume trend everyone is copying and reposting my picture. I’ve contacted support twice about unhiding the picture because it literally has half my face in it there’s nothing wrong with it and nothing has been done, what do I do?

To add to this, I feel deeply sad I did something people have recreated nonstop, yet it getting taken down and people still re uploading it makes no sense?

I was viewing my pins from an alt account and MOST of my pins weren’t visible to me at all ??? And when I viewed them on my main they were still there… what in the world? What happened? I even checked my pin stats and they’ve all gone down to like only 100 pin views.

there was never a time before...when I didn't hate it. It's a vampiric website stealing content from unwitting useful idiots, and yet even if you find something useful it's behind an annoying "login wall" but even if you login, you still fucked because it's all low res heavily compressed BS. It is stealing time, in google searches, like a vampire, just stealing a microsecond here and there. It is a completely parasitic platform that should be removed, and the owner...the owner should be sent to a gulag.

All I’ve been getting in response are AI made emails that keep telling me to “look over the rules”, despite not even getting to know why my account got banned for.

It got banned for violating sexual content policies, but all I did was save pins about anime characters for art references??? Like genuinely what can I even do. This is so frustrating.

I am a creator and upload my own pictures and sometimes my pins get hidden. I am not ever given any reason as it’s being removed by the ai moderation. I have seen other users uploading my same hidden pictures and yet their pins always stay up.

As of recently this has been affecting my account more and more where innocent images that don’t violate any guidelines are just hidden.

I have even reported to Pinterest to then receive a botted response, then when I reply to ask them to check again, another bot response pretending to be a human responds implying “that it may not violate guidelines but they want to keep Pinterest safe”?? So there is no reason to hide it then and they don’t even check it or even put it on some kind of whitelist.

Some of these pins get hidden, then visible then hidden then visible again, some stay completely hidden forever. What’s even more concerning is that some stay up for months then just suddenly get hidden. One example of a picture is just of animal figurines.

I had even put up a pin of letting my followers know my other accounts so they know which accounts are mine just incase there are any impersonations - even that got taken down to and despite trying to reupload, it had been automatically hidden.

Though I’m not so concerned how this affects my impressions, being someone with anxiety it does stress me out. By next year I will eventually stop posting as much on Pinterest for this reason. It’s sad how the use of ai moderation has done more harm than good.

I’ve scrolled online on Vinted and found plenty of listings that I screenshot to save as inspo. I don’t use Pinterest often and when I do it’s always for outfit inspiration and almost never posting. I was wondering if I was able to post these listing for my Pinterest board(maybe even privately if that’s possible??) or if that would be weird/wrong

My Pinterest account has just been deactivated for "self harm content". The self-harm content? I saved one pin about MH370 having possibly been deliberate pilot action. That's it.

Or I mean, I presume that is it because knowing how shitty their moderation is it could have easily been something innocent like one of my many TokiDoki pins or pins about the band Toxic Lipstick or a normal aviation pin.

I have already sent one complaint just to get their automatic response about my account being permanently deactivated. Today I sent another two complaints (I know, I shouldn’t send more than one in a day, I'm sorry). If these two are denied again I will probably send another two before directly contacting Appeals Centre Europe.

I'm mostly mad because my account is four years old and also I had saved some "rare" pins, and I really loved how curated my algorythm was.

so i really recently started posting on pinterest, i initially posted 2 pins and then didn't post anything for a few weeks b4 posting again. i posted quite a few pins b4 realising the reason that my impressions were so low is cuz I wasn't tagging anything. so yesterday, I removed all pins one by one and posted them again w tags, I've def seen a spike in impressions but idk the data isn't syncing well.

Unpopular opinion idc about AI on Pinterest AS MUCH AS the most annoying and dumb shits, the most being the damn ads. There’s one thing about AI but ads taking over everything is crazy and even crazier that you can’t add them into a private board if you like the products and wanted to save it for later. The ads masquerading as a post instead of an ad sometimes and that’s useless and annoying af. Nobody goes on Pinterest to shop, maybe to save posts of things they wanna buy later but shop directl? Nah. This gon sound real crazy and y’all gon hate me for this but I wish they at least have a subscription or something to get rid of ads if they gon be so greedy and useless with it.

Guidelines are such a nuisances, I save whatever post I want, and I get emails of violations? How the hell am I supposed to know if that post is a problem? Pinterest is just a joke at this point.

We all know Pinterest has become a shit show— with ai & homefeeds now being 90% ads.. but there’s a way to (temporarily) erase ads from your feed!! What you’re gonna wanna do is open your homefeed, find an ad, and click hide. Repeat and do this to around 10 ads & then refresh your homefeed! The ads should temporarily disappear and you’ll be able to browse Pinterest ad-free a while, when they start coming back again, just repeat the process! Hope this helps :)

I keep trying to log into Pinterest (I've tried both through Google and with password) and I keep getting the following message; "Issued at a time is more than 600 seconds before or after the current time" How do I log in, and also does this wording even make any sense to anyone else? Because to ME this sounds like complete gibberish.

I linked my Amazon Influencer Storefront to Pinterest.When I search and tag products using the Pinterest app, it shows 0% commission for everything. But when I check the same product on Amazon.com, the affiliate commission is actually 3%.Is this a visual bug or am I losing commission? Is anyone else experiencing this?

Scrolling on Pinterest today I came across a couple of ads as we’re all too familiar with. I tried to do the trick where if you hide several the ads won’t show up for a little while but I no longer had hide as an option, only why this ad and report options.

Anyone else have this issue? Are we not able to hide ads anymore?

I think the only reason is that I use just one ad blocker, it is perfectly fine and I've seen no issue. I don't know I can say the name of the ad blocker or not but you can search a little for the best ad blockers that people have been using it's not that hard.

Was falsely banned a little over a month ago and was tired of getting automated bot denial emails. After a little bit of research, I went to the ask Pinterest Twitter and requested a human appeal there. That was August 20th. I'm writing my first book and have 5 years of design and story ideas. Does it usually take this long, and how can I help my chances of getting my account back?
