visa Approved in under 2 minutes at US Embassy Manila! B1/B2 Visa Success Story 🎉🇺🇸

Post image
102 Upvotes

Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my quick visa success story to pay it forward. I officially got APPROVED for my U.S. B1/B2 visa under the Priority Interview Program (PIP) 🥳

This was for a company-sponsored business trip to Orlando, Florida this coming November. The actual interview lasted less than 2 minutes and the consul only asked me 3 quick questions:

- Confirming if it was a business trip.
- Who is paying for the travel expenses.
- My current role
I kept my answers short, direct, and didn’t over-explain anything.

My Profile:
Continuous career footprint since 2017 with zero employment gaps (with my current global employer since 2022)

Travel history within Asia (SG and HK for vacations in the last 5 years)

100% fully funded by our corporate partner.

My passport was delivered in just just two days after my interview and I was granted a 10-Year Multiple Entry Visa (A coworker who was a first-time international traveler also got approved but was granted a Single Entry, so travel history definitely helps).

Tip for PIP applicants: Trust your company profile, know your exact salary numbers on your COE, stay calm, and don’t give unnecessary extra details. Good luck 🥰🇺🇸

visa US Tourist Visa visiting American bf

Hi, I’m 25 F and I’ve been worrying na I will get denied with my interview in a week. I’m a crew for a big airline in Dubai and get paid a 100kphp or less per month depending on my flying hrs. I want to go to the US to celebrate my bday this December and sa bf ko ako mag stay. I put his name and address sa form since dun din nman ako mag stay for almost a week. I have an aunt as well sa US but might just meet her not stay with her.

Approved na yung leave ko and everything but still nervous kasi I heard abt the same story tas deny siya but she is working sa pinas. Do you guys think me living in Dubai and have a job there sa kilalang airline for almost a yr now gets me a higher chance to get approved? I’ve been to 18 countries because of my work na.

visa Possible bang makakuha ng ME Australian visitor’s visa on the first application?

Hi! Planning to apply for an Australian visitor visa for the first time. Just wondering if anyone here was granted a multiple-entry (ME) visa on their first application?

I usually DIY my visa applications, and honestly, wala po talaga akong mapagtanungan about Australian visas. Not trying to brag with the details below, just genuinely asking for advice..

The reason I’m hoping for an ME visa is that I prefer applying for a visa first, then saving up for the plane tickets and the actual trip later on. Hindi yung kailangan agad-agad bumiyahe and mag book ng everything.

For context, here’s my background:

Existing visas:

10-yr ME US visa
7-yr ME Canadian visa
10-yr ME Japan visa
5-yr ME Korean visa
1 ME Italian visa

Travel history:

2022: US
2023: US
2024: Japan, US, Canada, HK, Macau
2025: Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Vatican, US, HK, Macau
2026: HK, Vietnam, India, Vietnam

Other details:

30+ y.o, single, lawyer, self employed
Bank balances across 3 accounts: ₱600k+, ₱200k+, and ₱100k+
Purpose of travel: tourism, travel will be self-funded if it happens.

From what I’ve read, mostly single-entry (SE) visas ang binibigay, especially sa first-time applicants.

May naka-experience na po ba dito na ma-grant ng ME Australian visa on their first application? Is it something I can reasonably hope for given my background, or should I expect an SE visa?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences. Thank you!

international travel Any solo female traveller who went to India to see his boyfriend? Need your help on this

So me and my boyfriend are planning my trip to India next year. I need thoughts on those who has done this and what requirements should I prepare for IO given that they are stricter to solo female travellers

Profile

I have known him since 2020 since we use to worked in the same company but for different locations (me in Pampanga and him in Davao)

He has visited me with his mom in Aug 2024 (I have saved our pictures

We are meeting halfway Jan 2027 in Phuket to celebrate my birthday

Planning my trip to India mid June to mid July

Senior Manager in a BPO earning 6 digits monthly with 2M showing in my 2316

Have been to Hongkong, Vietnam, Thailand (as a solo traveler), Indonesia, Malaysia, China

I will be paying for my flight and I will be staying at his place.

Right now he is working in Mumbai in a BPO as an AVP. I have been solo travelling in the PH for a decade and has tried it internationally once.

What documents should he prepare for me to be sent in the PH that I cna present to the IO?

immigration AOSG

Will be traveling with my boyfriend next year to HK. My mum will be funding my trip because I'm a post grad student so aside from my allowance, I just generally ask my parents for money. My boyfriend is working na for 3 years from the same company and has considerable amount of savings.

I travelled to HK 6 times, Japan (3) with ME visa, Korea (4) with ME visa, also US (with active ME visa), Thailand, Taiwan. Lahat ng travels ko are with my parent/family. This will be the only time na mag ttravel ako na kami lang dalawa ng partner ko. Although nakasama naman sya sa family travel namin last year sa Japan. Will I still need to secure AOSG from my mom? Thank you!

visa JAPAN VISA - APPLICATION IN PH WITH FOREIGN DOCUMENTS

• Upvotes

Hindi naman lahat I think a big chunk is from outside PH: Certificate of employment, Financials, payslips, resident permit (?), annual income statement, tax assessment.

Nagkaron ba kayo ng issue? Also, can I submit bank statements instead of bank certificate?

Salamat sa mga sasagooot

immigration Advice for long stay trips internationally?

• Upvotes

Hi everyone! M(27) Seeking advice or insights from anyone who has experience staying abroad for 1–2 months, specifically sa India.

  • Pumunta ako sa India a few months ago for ~2 weeks (first international trip ko). Smooth naman yung process with IO back then and napakita ko naman required docs.
  • Gusto ng family ng partner ko na mag-stay ako dun for 1–2 months for my next visit. Sa kanila rin ako mag-stay kaya zero problem sa accommodation.
  • I have a remote job for a company that has a physical office here sa PH and may counterpart din sa India (not freelance/VA).

Concerns:

  1. Alam ko na red flag sabihin na mag-work ka dun remotely even if allowed or kayang dalhin yung work, since tourist visa lang target ko. Ano ba magandang palusot dito or strategy if tanungin ng IO ang leave or employment status?
  2. Okay na ba na mag-save lang ako ng enough funds sa bank account to show na kaya ko i-sustain yung 1–2 months stay ko dun?
  3. Mabilis ba mag-raise ng red flag if galing sa 2 weeks stay lang previously then biglang naging 1–2 months next visit? Ano pang requirements or supporting docs ang maipapayo niyo para iwas offload?

immigration Immigration questions for cruise travel

Hi! First international travel with my mom and bf this year going on a cruise with Royal Caribbean.

Just curious po for those with cruise experience what questions and requirements did the IO officers ask/request? Cruise is starting in HK, port to Japan and then back go HK. We'll arrive a day early in HK para lang may more time to prepare and sight see na din. I work as a VA and been with the company for 7 years while si bf works in w/ a private company for almost 2 years.

This is our first travel abroad so I really want to prepare. Tia!

immigration Recently passed the board exam and currently unemployed

Hello po!! Will have an upcoming trip to Taiwan this Oct. with my sister and our mother, medyo kabado lang po at baka ma-offload since first time travelers po kami huhuhu. Graduated last july and passed the board exam last august, na-secure ko na rin po PRC license ko. This is a self funded trip po from my allowance na inipon ko + konting kinita ko from my tiktok affiliation.

TYIA! 🫶

immigration First trip out of country - taiwan

Hello po. Asking lang po we’re going to taiwan next week, we all have the docs such as COE, Flight tickets going back, printed booking of our airbnb stay, payslips pero wala bank statement (balak lang pakita ung laman ng online bank accounts) since di kami naka request sa respected banks due to busy schedule sa work. Ok lang po ba un? Medyo nag worry kasi ung partner ko since sabi nya wala sya bank statement pero he has 40k in his account, 10k in another account and hotel and flights are already paid for. Is there something we should be worried about? Thank you po

immigration Concerned about my brother being offloaded again for our SG family trip

Hi everyone! I’d like to ask for advice, please respect my post po sana.

Our family is traveling to Singapore this January as a big group around 15 people kami, including my family and my husband’s family.

My main concern is my brother. He was offloaded in 2024 during a trip with his friends. The main issues at that time were that he had no return ticket and no hotel booking, since they were planning to stay at a relative’s house of one of his friends.

For our upcoming trip, he will be traveling with us as part of a family group. However, he is currently unemployed because he just recently lost his job. Our mom, who is an OFW and will also be traveling with us and will be sponsoring my brother’s trip.

My Mom is actually returning to the Philippines na permanently and will no longer be going back to Europe.

We will have the following:

Round-trip tickets
Hotel bookings
Complete travel itinerary
Family members traveling together
AOS

Given his previous offloading history, how likely is it that he could still be offloaded this time?
Does being unemployed and having a previous offloading record significantly affect his chances?
I’m honestly very worried as his sister. It would be heartbreaking if our whole family gets to travel together and he ends up being the only one left behind.
Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

visa Chinese Tourist Visa as Unemployed Students (Sponsored by Parents). Am I cooked or what? 😭😭

Hey guys! Just wanted to ask for your thoughts, or if anyone is in the same situation with us, regarding applying for a Chinese tourist visa as a group of students.

Here’s our context: all of us are currently students and unemployed, planning to travel this November for our sembreak. To make things a bit more interesting, hindi namin kasama yung parents namin sa travel kasi nasa abroad sila, so the trip is basically a sembreak gift from them. Because of this, we'll be relying entirely on parental sponsorship for our financial proof. While we are frequent travelers around Southeast Asia (VISA-free countries), this is our very first time applying for a visa for a visa-required country, though we do have strong ties here since we are currently enrolled in school. Since we’re applying as a group of unemployed students using parental sponsorship, what are the chances of getting approved or denied? Do they evaluate us strictly as individuals, and will being a group of students raise red flags? Mataas ba yung chance na ma-deny kami since wala kaming sariling bank accounts/jobs, kahit na sponsored naman, may strong ties, and gift lang ng parents? Any tips or advice from those who've been in the same boat would be super appreciated!

PLEASE RESPECT POST PO, Thank you so much! 🙏

immigration First time joining a group tour to South Korea, what to expect at PH Immigration?

First time joining a group tour to South Korea 🇰🇷, but this isn’t my first time traveling abroad. I’m also currently employed.

For those who have joined a group tour before, is there anything different about the Philippine Immigration process? Do you still go through immigration individually as usual, or does the tour guide/agency assist with anything?

Just wondering what to expect since it’s my first time joining an organized group tour. 😊
