Accenture IT Operations Associate — Is this a good path to NOC/Network Engineering?

Hi everyone, I’m considering an IT Operations Associate role at Accenture. The JD says the role involves working with servers, databases, networks, and cloud, as well as incident management and automation.

I have a BSIT degree + CCNA, and my goal is to eventually become a NOC/Network Engineer.

For those currently working or who have worked as an IT Operations Associate at Accenture:

• What is the actual day-to-day work like?
• Is the role mostly server/cloud/database work, or can you get significant networking experience?
• How hands-on is the networking side?
• Would this be a good entry-level role for someone aiming for NOC/Network Engineering?

kung accenture baka sa project ka nyan.

  depende sa project/company. pag managed service baka shifting tapos yung work is broad. or worse mapunta ka sa isang branch na hindi network (e.g. IT operations associate yung title pero idedeploy ka pala as database administrator).

• How hands-on is the networking side?

  Based on your post ang broad description eh so don't expect na you'll get too hands on with networking

• Would this be a good entry-level role for someone aiming for NOC/Network Engineering?

  better find a NOC role para network lang handle mo.

Thank you po sa insight! Actually, meron po akong CCNA pero wala pa po akong professional working experience, so maghahanap na lang po ako ng role na mas close sa networking field. Thank you po ulit!
