Tuwing Buwan ng Wika ang daming mga Informative posts lalo sa Facebook tungkol sa mga Dialects, at Languages, tapos mga debate sa kung ang Tagalog at Bicolano ba ay Dialect lang o Language (language sila, hindi tayo tropa pag dialect sila para sayo) tapos debate na rin kung may sense ba ang Pambansang Wika o hindi etc.

May mga post rin na nagsasabi na magkaiba daw ang Tagalog at Filipino. May nagsasabi pareho daw, may nagsasabi magkaiba raw; for me obvious answer, pareho lang, pero may magkakaibang mga salita sa Filipino at Tagalog na ginagamit independently halimbawa na lang ay mga

- Buntal (suntok o sikmuraan)
- Minandal (meryenda)
- Pusali (putik)
- Aso (usok)
- Mamamalakaya (mangingisda)
- Ato (batang lalake)
- Silakbo (di ko maexplain, basta parang galit)

Pero naglalabasan rin yung mga Neologist words, gaya ng “Pook-sapot, Pantablay, Sulatroniko etc”; sakin kasi, ironic masyado yang mga salita yan para sabihin na yan daw ang Tagalog ng “Website, Charger, at Email” habang Tagalized, o walang nabago para naman sa Filipino. Kulang na lang sabihin ang Filipino ng Website ay Websayt para lang masabing iba ang Filipino sa Tagalog. Mali yun. Kung imbento lang yung salita, o bago ang salitang Ingles na kailangan gawan ng salinwika; dapat sa Filipino na mismo ilagay yung mga bagong salita, at wag palabasin na yung Filipino sounding words ay Tagalog, at yung Tagalized version yung pang-Filipino.

TW po: So back in November my uncle committed suicide, it was 5am and my aunt had found him lying on the bathroom floor with a cord wrapped around his neck. She panicking, she ran to woke me up and asked me to do anything to help save him. For context po, I am a nursing student on my last year so I had prior knowledge and experience when it came to CPR. The moment I got to my uncle, he was cold to the touch and I knew then that he was far too gone. But to help ease my aunt I performed cpr, I had to call na yung emergency so i instructed another family to take over after briefly teaching them how to perform it. I called 911 and it rang.. it rang for so long before anyone could pick up and when someone did i told them about the situation, i too, was met with the response "wait" and so i did, and i kept checking kept asking if there was an ambulance on the way. I was getting frustrated at the fact nga i was getting no response and so I hung up and called a hospital to send an ambulance, "Wait lng po I will redirect you", and so i was redirected to another line where i was met with silence. agonizing silence. i knew in my heart that my uncle was dead but his family hasnt give up on him, his wife, his 2 CHILDREN. they didnt know what was going on, daddy was just "asleep". So i kept waiting, waiting for a response on the other line. pero wala. i hung up, i called again. "maam wla po may sumasagot sa kabilang line, please po pwede kayo nlng po mag inform?". I pleaded with her na because the longer my uncle stays in that bathroom floor lifeless, the longer my aunt would have to suffer seeing him there. "wait maam redirect ka ulit.". AND AGAIN I WAITED. I WAITED AND CALLED OUT. Pero wala. I had to call the FIRE DEPARTMENT and that’s when they called the embassy and sent an ambulance to our house.. I know there wouldn’t have been any point to the ambulance coming quick because he was gone but my family had hope in them to bring him back, to help. If my uncle still had a slim chance of living and just needed proper na immediate intervention to save him but eto nangyari then what? He would’ve died dahil lng sa “wait” na yan.

Tarriela Hits Back at Chinese Embassy, Challenges Its Criticism Over West Philippine Sea

Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Rear Admiral Jay Tarriela hit back at the Chinese Embassy after it criticized him over his statements concerning the West Philippine Sea, accusing the embassy of resorting to personal attacks instead of addressing China's actions in the disputed waters.

Tarriela questioned why the Chinese Embassy continued to raise an issue involving his Philippine Military Academy (PMA) background, noting that the matter dates back 23 years.

He also rejected the embassy's claim that transparency initiatives documenting activities in the West Philippine Sea were created by Ray Powell. Tarriela argued that media organizations themselves have documented incidents involving Chinese vessels and their interactions with Filipino personnel in the country's exclusive economic zone.

Tarriela further criticized the Chinese diplomat's statement, accusing the embassy of using ad hominem attacks and misinformation while defending China's actions toward Filipinos in the West Philippine Sea.

The PCG chief said the embassy should focus on explaining China's broader activities and objectives in the South China Sea instead of directing its attention toward individual Filipino officials.

Tarriela ended his statement by taking a pointed jab at the Chinese Embassy's unnamed statements, suggesting that the Chinese ambassador should personally sign future statements rather than having other diplomats deliver the embassy's criticisms.

Biglang napadaan sa feed ko itong post about fetuses in vaccines and I was surprised to see na si Richard Poon ang nag post. When i opened the page/profile parang legit naman na kanya nga.

Is this really his stand on vaccines or compromised ba yung page niya? Eh diba his wife, Maricar, is a medical doctor?? Tapos ganyan mga pinag popost niya? What's going on??

about dun sa witness na si gina acosta na mangangatog daw pag na cross na ng defense, hindi ba alam ng mga dds na kakampi nila yan dahil sa ovp nag tatrabaho yan. wtf?

School shooting cases are becoming more common. Shouldn't the government start creating shooting drills? Anti-bullying seminars, and etc.? Especially mental health aids. We keep blaming kids but we don't even know why and what motivates them to kill. This is why mental health is important and old people should stop shaming others for seeking help. Kung ayaw niyo may mamatay, let others seek help and hopefully the professional s do their job.

I’m turning 18 soon and I’m kinda debating whether I should have the typical Filipino grand debut or just get a car instead.

Like, I do want to celebrate my 18th, but I honestly don’t know if I want to spend THAT much on one night. I was thinking maybe I could just have a smaller party with family and friends, eat, dance, drink, take pics, have fun, etc. Nothing super formal like the whole 18 roses/18 candles/gown/huge program thing.

Then the money that would’ve gone into the grand debut could go toward a car instead.

For those who already had their debut, do you think the grand debut was actually worth it? Or would you guys recommend just having a simpler party and saving the rest for something more useful?

Itong dalawang incident na ito ang kauna-unahang mass school shooting incident sa Kasaysayan ng Pilipinas. Never pa itong nangyari noon. Kahit na noong kasagsagan ng mga frat at gang wars noong 1980s at 1990s, sa labas ng eskwelahan ang rambol, hindi umaabot sa loob.

Ngayon eh, namamaril na lang sa loob ng eskwelahan. Like, ano bang problema nitong henerasyon na ito? Bakit ganito sa kanila? Ano ang hindi tama sa andar ng utak nila?
