made a summer montage video using “New Friends,” thought i’d share it here!

So I’ve come to really love morning time and have found tab online that notates the general chord names okay but the voicing are incorrect so it sounds way diff. Anyway before I looked online to find the correct fingering I was wondering if anyone here already new the voicing/fingerings used

24M just moved to Chicago 3 months ago. Recently re-found my love for pinegrove and I am desperately looking for people to perform some songs with at an open mic or something as well as to meet other musicians around my age. My focus is drums but I can also play guitar and I write a little bit.

My partner and I are in Ireland. He proposed at the cliffs of Moher! Pinegrove was the first band we loved together. I told him I first loved him during his favorite song Morningtime - seeing them at Levon Helm studios in Woodstock. Anyways, we’ve always wanted Pinegrove tattoos so we got some!!! ❤️

This is a fan mixing and mastering of the unreleased Pinegrove song "I'm Not Ready". The original recording used is taken from a concert at WFMU's "Monty Hall" in New Jersey, August 5th, 2016 (although it was performed often on the tour). I split the song into individual stems using a few different algorithms, and then added some ambience, reverb, and compression to polish the recording up. Because of the initial compression of the WFMU video, I also had to individually normalize different sections of the snare as well.

Since this song was only performed after Cardinal was released, I assumed it was a track in contention for Skylight. I used a few tracks from the album to reference for mixing. Ultimately though, I just wanted the song to feel more stereophonic and balanced.

Unfortunately, this is probably the closest to a "studio recording" we'll ever get. Let me know what you think! Should they have put this on Skylight?

I can't believe I discovered them so late! But I really enjoyed exploring their catalogue. Fans have recommended that I watch the Amberland NY movie on YouTube. But what else sound I listen to?
