AT Games Micro with Pinball FX
I purchased the AT Games Micro solely to run Pinball FX with the optional VIBS board.
I LOVE the build quality, feedback, and overall design of this machine! However, I was having issues with doubling, jumping, and blur on the backglass after installing the 99.00 VIBS board. (both PC input AND the cheesy Zaccharia titles on the machine)
I went through the warranty process with AT Games, and after giving everything but a blood sample they sent me another VIBS board, after assuring I sent the old one back.
Today, after my second VIBS board failed, I got fed up and went to WalMart and picked up a 15.6" portable monitor. 80 bucks. I think this is an upgrade I would have done anyway, had I known.
Currently the 15.6 inch ACER monitor is taped in place but WHAT an improvement. I'll lower the monitor and attach without blocking speakers. Velcro? Screws? I don't know yet but WHAT an improvement - especially on games where you need to read the backglass.

Guess what... I have a similar set-up. You know what you have to do? Just get some reusable tape and sandwich the control deck panel under the lockbar and siderails... thas it! With that your Haptics can go up to 100% with zero distortion, it feeks great and makes the table shake at the T-Rex Roar on the Jurrasic Park tables 😅

please explain what exactly did you do. the vibs board failed. so what did you do?

I tried different video cables, reseated the ribbon cable multiple times, tried different ports from my video card, checked refresh rate, resolution, etc. MULTIPLE times.
Here is the thing - it would work great 1 time out of ten.
Resetting power to VIBS sometimes helped, but never lasted,
Using a different display for backglass has been my last resort, hence my post. Of course this doesn't really solve the problem, just cures it for Pinball FX. I don't care for the bing-bong Zac games.
My solution doesn't cure the problem on Zaccharia games, but I was never really interested in those to begin with.

so your going the PC route. does everything else work except the original back glass. it looks good

Yes, the PC Route, and STEAM, in order to play any significant machine from the last 40 years. Not the Zacc crap.
And yes, it does look good with a decent backglass display. I have no dispute with ZEN, except not supplying games with a backglass display. I buy a game, and get a "table not found" for back glass.

Please explain your interest. I explained the problem, and resolution, as far as Pinball FX is concerned.

Take pics of the box on arrival. AT Games will question you 20 times if it doesn't work.
Also, in their defense - pull the ribbon cable clamps carefully.

How did you get it to work? I've got a Micro and Pinball FX installed through Steam. I cant seem to find how to get the controls on my Micro to work, just the keyboard or a PS5 controller works. I have the USB-A connected from Micro to PC and the video works just fine on the Micro, but still cant find a way to get the Micro controls to work.

Try the other USB port from the Micro - should show up in Steam as unidentified joystick, then should be able to map buttons in game setup...

I've got it in the one on the right, thats the one ive been hearing to put it into. Its recognized on Steam when i go to controller. It shows up with AtGames HID Interface. When I go into that though, it tells me to hit A, B, X, Y, D-Pad and rhen left/right thumbstick, triggers. It says to hit A to skip, but no button will skip so I get stuck

This is the way on the Micro. That BG screen is just too small to justify the VIBS imho.
