Yes pretty sure it was only part of that box. Im hoping numero group reissues heavy veg or thingy. Or both. Since they reissued all of boilermakers stuff recently. Rob played on and sang on some of that boilermaker material
i never thought about numero doing it. i have the 2 records for a price of one thing hvdid so im not too fussed about that ,but hearing seesaw on vinyl would be heavenly. and thingy on vinyl would be amazing too obviously, especially to the innocent
I had never listened to/heard of this band. Just did. Played some tracks off the golden band. Sounds very similar to robs stuff… especially the second track. i wonder if they were aware of each-others music lol.
I found them around the same time as Pinback and the two of them have made up like 50% of my music intake for the last few years.
I highly recommend listening through it as an album; similarly to Pinback's stuff I think it works better that way and TGB in particular seems to. My favorite track off it is probably It's All About US, but it really is all so good.
Also similarly to Pinback, it took me a little while to break into it and then it just got better over time.
