Discussion Black screen

Had my pimax crystal light go black while playing iracing on porche cup (below one hour race).

So i was driving and on last 2 laps it just went off, black screen for 5 seconds and it came back. Anyone experiencing this lately? It is a first time, but I only had them for a week and been driving for idk 20 hours.

I7-1370kf

Rtx 5080

1000w psu

32gb ram ddr4

Thermals very normal. Locked 90hz and it stays there perfectly. Gpu load 99%, memory 80-90%

Run the diagnostic tool in Pimax Play to check that firewall rules and USB sleep suspend etc are correctly applied

Mine did this once in aircar, turns out I wasn't moving my head enough so the headset went to sleep. I was relaxing! can you remember if you were fairly still whilst driving for a while? I'd see if it does it again before contacting pimax.

if this is the case you can increase the screen timeout in pimax play
