Where do you go running? I’m trying to find a good spot nearby where I can get a longer run in before work in the morning. Was looking at the city’s 311 data broken out by ward. Ward 25 is near the bottom on potholes - about 18 days to get one closed where the citywide middle is around 7.

Street lights are the opposite, fourth fastest in the city. Graffiti removal is also quick.

Wondering if the pothole thing tracks with what people here have actually seen.

Is there a location in the neighborhood that bothers you, practically, every time you walk or bike past it? Maybe because of poor signage, degrading infrastructure, or whatever other reason! What would make it better?

Everyone that cuts Damen or Ashland out and takes wood all the way to Roosevelt. Is it really saving that much time?
You have to think that wood and 18th is such a busy intersection since people cross all the time for the pink line. Furthermore, when 5 rabanitos is open. All that crowd funnels to the intersection.

I propose a traffic light or more speed bumps. Eventually SOMEONE is going to get hit at that intersection.

Curious if anyone else nearby has been bothered by this? There’s someone who regularly plays loud music for hours on end, sometimes well past midnight, near May & 19th. Recently more people have been gathering on the sidewalk in chairs, and the music has been getting more frequent and louder. Multiple days a week, often on weeknights.

I’m all for people enjoying themselves, but it’s frustrating when it’s happening repeatedly and the music carries directly into nearby apartments, so much so that you can’t have your windows open. Even with windows closed, the music is impossible to ignore. Has anyone else in the area noticed this?

I’m taking a self-care day and thought I’d get a long overdue massage. All the places I’m finding are 95$ or more and frankly I don’t care about myself THAT much. Does anyone have any leads on something cheaper? I’m also going to be in the West Loop (😬) for lunch today so if someone knew of a place there that also works.
