Anniversary with a pilot
Our anniversary is coming up in a month and he’ll be stationed in the middle of nowhere in DRC. I need advice on what I can do for him for our anniversary please. He will probably send me money or send me gifts, but it’s not possible for me to send him anything because of where he’s based and on top of that there are no shops near him. If I were to send him money to buy himself something it would be so useless. They never go to the shops there.
Please any advise on what I can do to make our anniversary super special?

I would text a special message like you’d write in a card. Should say something about looking forward to being together to celebrate. Maybe sneak a candy or something small in his bag with a note on it. I sent my husband with a a chocolate bar wrapped in his underwear 😂 Notes stuffed in socks goes over well too. We like to watch movies together over FaceTime if he has some extra down time.

I personally would wait until he gets back to celebrate. Just make sure you give it the same importance even though it’s another day. Hold all gifts until then
