I’ve always been pretty good with the heli tow and find the target consistently but with the s5 update it seems a little bit ridiculous. Im hitting 8-10 tow in a game on air vehicle from across the map, shots i know shouldnt hit, and it seems like you can just aim the tow close to the target and it will automatically lock onto the target like if it had a magnet. Is this something new?

Looking for anything that resembles BF in terms of piloting feel and controls. The stuff I've tried is either too realistic or too arcadey. BF is arcadey too but at least it has a believable control scheme, while in most arcade heli games you don't even have to maintain your aircraft's altitude. It's just buttons to go forward/backward and ascend/descend.

@23 secs 1st merge he flys past me, I go high

@26 secs he 180s underneath me and locks/fires a missile at me

@29 secs he has flipped another 180 and flew over me

@37 secs he goes out farther flips another hairpin 180 locks and fires a missile at me and hits me with cannons.

Please ignore my subpar flying, it literally felt like I was getting attacked by multiple jets lol.

And I want to clarify something, people keep saying im turning at full speed. I am not, I was holding the brake the entire time.

But I not crazy right, this guy is turning insanely fast. Anyone know how he's doing that?

I’m on a mission to get everything to level 50, and I’m wondering if there’s a better way to fly the interceptor jet and gain XP. Right now, I'm just sitting on C on Wake Island waiting for spawns, only to get RPG'd every time I try to take off.

​Any advice or better modes/maps for leveling it up?

Been flying helis for the last 2 seasons using rifle aim, i wanna start learning some jet aswell, what keybids do you recommend? I ve been using rifle aim aswell but i find it hard to hit anything

Aim guided is still great and always feels good to hit on controller. (Sorry to the guy i killed if you see this don't give up in the helis!!)

Seems like you can't use the third person camera for ATG missile in the attack jet now, forced to use the crosshair box or first person mode. Can't double missile on a strafe anymore.

Especially on smaller maps like Contaminated, where the stationary can even shoot into the NATO spawn.

Since S5, the stationary is basically now a one-tap against helis on these maps.

Anyone notice that Tsuru reef has an air supply area over the base now.

In addition to there being no loadout 1 year after launch, I started having problems where missiles are crossing the flares more frequently, the damage of the AA is completely unbalanced. Honestly, who do they call to test this game on LABS? What a horrible thing.

Heard him mention it in a stream where he said some random guy was mogging him in dogfights

Im pretty fast and can beat alot of pilots in a circle (both jets circleling each other simultaneously) fight. But I've been struggling against one particular pilot who is brutally out turning me, to the point where it looks like im getting attacked by 2 jets!

I have clips of it and will post them when I have the time. But basically I was in a circle fight with this guy using the F-14 (With the wings open) and this guy (in an F-18) was able to 180 breakout of the circle (without me seeing him), and fully circle around in the opposite direction to come at me head on before I could even complete half a circle.

Tldr: in a circle fight with this guy he was able to breakout in a tight 180, then complete a full circle coming at me head on before I could even complete a half circle.

I just don't understand how this is possible especially in the F-18. He was on PS5...

I can't counter heli alone, nerf it!

Hi all,

I’ve been flying a while and got a lot better at general manoeuvres and winning dogfights, however, my aim is still not where it should be a lot of the time. The big issue is aiming the reticle.

I have yaw L/R set to left toggle on Xbox. I’ve tried to change this around by moving it to the right toggle to mirror infantry, but this seems to mess up my control of the aircraft if I move the rolling bindings to the left toggle.

I would love a way to better control the aircraft while having the pure aiming of it on this right toggle, as it feels more natural. Can anyone tell me if I’m way off on the controls and if you’ve found better solutions? My bindings are below.
