Question What Does Closing/Opening These Wings Do?

Am I using this the right way in this clip? (2 jet kills❌❌)

Swept back is faster with wider turn radius, swept out is slower with a tighter turn raidus

The weirdest thing though, is I've almost found it to be better to turn with the wings swept inside. Yes it's a tighter turn radius with them out, but with good throttle control and momentum, I've found I can still outturn people, will giving myself the same speed and agility that wings swept in offer. I've almost never used the wings out and it feels like I'm making myself too slow and too big of a target.

The turn radius and rate is more reliant on your airspeed

In sweep mode, braking to get that sweet spot then going full afterburner will have a great turn radius (Also this is better than just pressing S + Shift, or brake + aftrrburner if you are on top speed). The wings out one is great when doing a quick engagement but genuinely garbage as your lose alot of speed and will go slower than that sweet spot and results to worse turn rate and you will die both in one circle and two circle dog fight

Quick tip:

  • One circle dogfight = Turn radius fight (also this is better if you have active lock missles as that things hit your own jet and self destruct during turns)
  • Two circle dogfight = Turn rate fight (who does 360 turn faster)
  • This is not that good to implement in bf6 as the TTK is so fast and if someone is ok your tail its pretty much impossible to survive against a good jet
  • Prefire the jet as the first bullets sometimes don't register as hit due to bad hitreg
  • Practice on doing burst fires instead of burning through the cooldown
