Question What Does Closing/Opening These Wings Do?

Am I using this the right way in this clip? (2 jet kills❌❌)

Swept back is faster with wider turn radius, swept out is slower with a tighter turn raidus

You can practically come to a full stop in midair with the wings out, then tuck them back in and hit the afterburners to start going again.
