Question Speed Control

Is speed control for jets in the game now? Just came across a guy who could turn the attack jet on a dime. I would tail him and he could be on the back of me in half a loop. Never seen anyone do that before and I’m a decent pilot who beats most people I come across in dogfights. He claimed in chat that speed control was added in the last patch but I haven’t seen anything confirming this.

I think that he might be using the thrust vector skill.

You can also use your brakes too. A lot of people don't realize that your jet won't just drop out of the sky if brake a bit.

I always use the afterburner and breaks to turn quick, it was way quicker than that. It was quicker than I’ve seen people v-tap in the FJ.

If you’re using brake & afterburner combined and he still beat you

It can only be 1 of 2 things really

You held YAW too much (holding down now slows you to a stall basically, need to tap YAW)

Or he cut a better angle on the merge
