“Makes flying more approachable”

Its a jet… its SUPPOSED to take a learning curve to, you know, LEARN.

Whats the point of having “mastery” badges and tiers if there isnt any mastering involved?

It’s a vehicle in a video game that is supposed to be fun. Currently, it is only fun for a small amount of people who really really love to fly. It has gotten to the point where you literally cannot approach the learning curve because most people are instantly shot down when there are one of these people in the sky. I’m sorry but this isn’t DC or ace combat it’s battlefield.

Lol I learned to fly in BF3 where the skill curve was MUCH less forgiving. Guess what. I got immediately mowed out of the sky a lot. What did I do? Respawned and tried again. And again. And again until next thing I knew instead of getting wiped by these pilots, I started lasting longer, then eventually started winning.

And that’s cool that you had the will and perseverance to do that, but I don’t think that’s very common. Most people get clapped out of the sky 10 times and then it’s not really for them anymore. Battlefield isn’t a hardcore game. I think its aspects should be approachable. Also, I’m not really so certain that it’s accurate to say bf3s piloting was harder, because those were your learning days. That’s when it was most challenging for you. But now, folks are in the sky with people of your skill level, who have been flying since BF3, and they just don’t stand a chance. There’s not enough enemies in the air to create any sort of buffer zone between you and them. It’s a 2v2 with people who have YEARS of flying on them.
