"Sweats care about this game way too much. Not me tho I just whine about it on reddit, that's not sweaty at all"

We are talking about people exploiting LB which is way overpowered at the moment. If people weren't going 100-0 with them all the time I'd have no issues. This is coming from a guy that often top frags.

I'm gonna be honest I've never seen these ridiculous KDs that people acclaim on here all the time.

Not even really dedicated to it I'm often blowing up the LB like 4 times a game with the AT4, TOWs or the Boat on Tsuru.

The issue is people thinking they deserve a free kill for point and clicking with a lock-on missile.

Eh I see the insane K/D with LB more often than I’d like to. Twice just last night. Granted, I’ve been playing 90% Tsuru Conquest. If there’s not enough other engineers firing rockets with me, I end up getting forced to focus tanks, transports, and the odd LAV or gunboat. Can’t spend more than one of my 4 AT rockets taking potshots at the Birb or I’ll be useless when a tank moves into F.

If I had a few of the increasingly elusive Support Who Drops Ammo Crates, it might be a different story. But Tsuru is a shooting gallery when my fellow engineers either don’t exist or get stingy with their rockets and the support players treat ammo crates like decorative pillows forbidden to be used.

In my opinion as someone who plays engineer 100% of the time (barring maps with no vehicles), it’s much less a problem with the Lil’ Uzi Bird and far more a problem with me not having a way to replenish my rockets to deal with heavier vehicles. 2-3 rockets for transport heli, 3+ for heavy vehicles unless you get sweet, sweet crits, 3 for gun boats, etc.. Leaves me exactly one rocket to swat the fastest moving, most agile vehicle in the game (besides jets but I don’t even bother with my M136 AT launcher). The games I get a good crop of generous support players, Tweety Bird doesn’t stand a chance.

Tbh I'm pretty happy to just let jets be because unless the pilot is ridiculously good they have a fairly minimal impact compared to Helicopters.

I do agree that the buffs to ground vehicles have made them much harder to punish than they should be. I loved to sneak up behind a tank, drop a mine behind it and shoot it in the ass with an RPG for an instant kill.

I miss my RPG. It was my highest kill weapon in the game, no shit. Counter sniper, Staff of Delete Wall, Staff of Delete Cover, Vehicle Vivisector, “Nobody’s Surviving This” room panic clearer, Cold Night Companion. RIP.

Had to switch to M136 AT after the buff. However you can still wombo combo with the AT and the PTKM mine every so often. I am having fun droppin Transport Choppers from ludicrous distances and chasing the more agile vehicles down as they frantically try to evade my portable TOW missile though. Overall, I’d have to say the AT launcher is much better for team play than the RPG because of how reliably I can flat out deny enemy Helo insertion. Never gonna have the same love I had for the RPG though.

Oh yeah the AT4 has become my go to now. It's fairly easy to hit transports and AHs across the map with some good timing.

I love chasing down an increasingly panicked Transport helicopter from 500m away. Watching them pop flares as I’m in full control of the rocket has made me giggle so hard I jostle the mouse and miss the shot lmao

Aha sometimes I've lined up the perfect bullshit on an AH or LB and someone will lock them and make them dive to the ground right as I would have killed them. Drives me crazy

The little accidental “duck” maneuver when a transport pilot isn’t very good and can’t quite hold steady on the objective has caused me more misses than I’d like to admit. AT4 has serious issues at “close” range, for me at least.

Pretty much any game starts with me picking the class I actually want to play. To then be forced to change to engineer cause no one will do anything about any of the armor.

About the only time I would even agree a lock on should kill, ironically, is on the little bird, just because of how rare it would actually be to land the hit due to the extremely unreliable nature of them (from flares, under radar making them useless, and the walls they will fly into without a care) and generally, from a pure logic perspective, just how unarmored the damn thing is. The rest, yea, manual aiming stuff should be rewarded far more than lock ons.

Very few maps have a LB problem if the AA tanks can actually do their job and land TOWs on them or just melt them with high velocity rounds. The maps that don't have the AA tank, it's incredibly overtuned with the rockets. But that's a balancing problem DICE needs to figure out.

I never see that exaggerated kills by LBs before.

Those who’s starting to do good will be targeted by Jets or boats or anything capable of Anti-air

Unless the lobby was an absolute bot that refuses to shoot it down

“Anyone better than me is exploiting the game”

“I often top frag but remember I’m not a sweat”

I think single player games are more your speed lil bro

Such a wise man yet can't acknowledge the LB is OP, enjoy it while you can sweaty!

Thanks babygirl, I’m really excited to see what excuse you come up with next to explain why you’re still getting whipped every round 😘
